The Urban August Security Chain Hardened 8mm Thick with a Weather-Resistant Pad Lock is the best outdoor chain with attached padlock that I have ever had. It does not rust outside in the rain or snow. I use it to place my garbage bin at the curb. After the Sanitation Dept. empties my bin, I haul it back to my property & chain it to my fence. I leave the bin outside all day & night because it too is weatherproof just like the security chain & attached pad lock. I am loving this & will specifically purchase this product again.

Solid all weather security chain with all weather lock. I had to wait awhile for the security chain but I am happy I waited. The length is going to be easy to use on my back gate.

The chain is very heavy and much longer than needed to lock a gate. But, it is working for us. We live in an urban setting and have problems with people trespassing into our back yard. We put this duo on a chain link gate across our driveway. We used to have a lighter weight lock on it, but someone tore it off and entered our yard during the night. A police officer recommended we get a much thicker chain and bigger lock. This one seems to be doing the job. No one has broken in yet!

Lock will not fit through chain. There is no way to use this lock with the chain that comes with it.

This is exactly what I needed for my generator outside. The lock is similar to the construction lock that I have and is very sturdy.

屋外にも対応しているものなので、鍵穴にパッキンの蓋があったりシャックルの根本部分に防水パッキンがあるので、確かに錆びにくそうな印象です。 チェーンはおそらく焼き入れなどはされていないので本気でこられると一瞬で切られそうですが、威圧感はあるので防犯してますよという印象にはなります。 ただ、シャックルのパッキンのせいでチェーンを通りにくいです。最初は本当に通るの？とう感じでしたが、力を入れて押すとなんとか通りました。なので、毎度開け閉めする度に力を込めてチェーンを通す作業が必要です。個人的には、なぜチェーンをもう一回り大きくしなかったとは思います。
