Q: Will this work on red hair

Q: Will this strip brown dye back to the bleached blonde it was before dyeing brown?

It may leave it A little ginger .. on my red hair it stripped back my bad dark and raspberry dye to my normal strawberry blond.

This did put a dark brown highlight on my black hair, to be honest it suited me and for twelve weeks despite 4 haircuts no grey cane through. That was an unexpected bonus. Using it one should lighten your hair enough.
