Q: Went to check the manual for a question and just realized out Blue air did not come with a pre-filter. Wasn't it supposed to?

Hi there, your Blue Pure 211+ Auto comes with one pre-filter in Arctic Trail, which may have come pre-installed on the unit (the grey external fabric). If this is not the case, please e-mail info@blueair.com and we will be happy to send a replacement.

Q: From which PM2.5 reading does the air purifier start increasing fan speed?

I have not seen it automatically increase fan speed. I set it on the 1,2 or 3 setting and forget it. Maybe it can alter fan speed but if so it's not noticeable to me.

Q: Where can additional Of the new style Pre-Filters be purchased?

The Blueair website has the pre-filters if you can’t find them here.

Q: I live in the country, lots of dirt + 3 dogs and 2 cats, how often will I need new filter?

Hi there, our formal recommendation is to change the filter every 6 months of continuous use, but you may check your filter periodically and replace it on an "as needed" basis if you prefer.
