The Outer Limits Complete Original Series Remastered Collector's Edition

This is the complete original series. This is a region 2 set sound and picture quality is very good.

I didn't get to watch the show growing up so I started watching and couldn't stop until I saw all of them. Still a great show today.

I buy a lot of Complete Collections and so many are disappointing, especially the packaging. But this colection is superb. The box is a real, strong BOX, rather than the flimsy ones so many provide. Inside are two wide blu-ray cases, one for each series, that are the same width, which makes it look really cool. The first series is on 7 discs and the second on 4 discs. Loads of great extras, more than i expected for an old series from 1963. Also a detailed booklet the same size as the case. Highly recommened, 10 out of 10.

I remember watching this as a kid many, many years ago and couldn't wait to watch the episodes again as an older man.I was greatly disappointed however as I seem to remember the stories were better and the characters/monsters etc but sadly I found the series very outdated and most of the 'monsters' costumes and masks just silly.I'm a big fan of the Twilight Zone and what I think the Twilight Zone had over the Outer Limits were more human stories and the fact they hardly used silly monster costumes and masks I think majes the Outer Limits timeless.The only thing I still love about the Outer Limits was the end music in season 2 onwards.Sometimes I think its best to remember the past as something as a memory rather than try to relive it as I did with the Outer Limits.

At last all episodes of the classic early 1960’s original series are collected in one place .Many of the featured characters are played by individuals who would become famous

I thought it best to caution anyone thinking of purchasing the DVD version of this set. It came to me in a bog standard, slightly battered cardboard box with just the discs inside two cases - no booklet and only half the extras listed for the Blu Ray. Don't be fooled like I was!

Fantastic series with its strange stories and way ahead of its time!!! 1963/65 Science Fiction and Horror at its very best!!! It all started here with the Outer Limits!!!
