If you've struggled to put your smartphone camera exactly over the eyepiece of a telescope, this will make it incredibly easy, flawless every time. Any idiot could use this (I should know, being the idiot who has tried to manually handle a camera over an eyepiece in the freezing cold for hours) and the results are excellent. This works perfectly with the iPhone 7 Plus even with a bulky Otterbox cover. Brilliant.

I really wanted this to work and to a fair extent it does use the binoculars well, but I could not take the phone out and put it back in the same place. If it had a positive lock or locating device so the phone would lock in the same place time and again then I would have one. Until then I will stick to my actual camera.

Used for taking microscope images with an iPhone 6:I've given up trying to fit this! I used to just place my iPhone camera over the eyepiece of a microscope and move it around carefully until a picture appeared. I thought this gadget would help.It doesn't: it takes too long to set up and because the eyepiece has a gap you only get a small round image. (With just the iPhone you get a much bigger image)Hideously large carry case; hideously large.Maybe it works with telescopes better - when you plan to leave it in place for hours at a time.I also bought a Solomark Universal Cell Phone Adapter mount....simpler and does work but still not ideal

I don't have anything against the product, it was easy to set up and it holds my phone tight on my telescope's eyepiece. Unfortunately the weight of the phone and the rubber grips (even with the lock engaged) cause a tiny bit of tilting which can throw the alignment off. It's ever so slight, but it's enough to leave the image off center. The tilt can be managed by repositioning the adapter, but it's not always consistent. Perhaps my unit was faulty, as I can see it isn't 100% flat along the top area with the optics hole, so a small bit of light can get through causing some bleed in the corner of images.

This was as described in the product description. I find it to be excellent for the money. It is sturdy and the spring to hold the phone is a strong. A bit fiddly at first, but once I used it a couple of times it was easy to use. I was pleasantly surprised it fitted both of my sets of binoculars. I can't wait to use it on my next birding trip.

Very disappointed, doesn’t work with the iPhone 7 Plus. The phone is too heavy and slips and slides off. Waste of money for me I’m afraid.

The image is quiete small and to occupy the whole screen it is necessary to use digital amplification and decrease quality.

Well made and comes with a nice travel case. One suggestion though is that they don't really stay on the Leica eye pieces very. I would maybe design something at the ends of the eye piece arms that hook onto the eyepieces.

Après quelques hésitations (doc en Anglais !), j'ai pu enfin profiter de ce produit plutôt bien fait. La photo du sansonnet (étourneau) a été faite avec une Swaroski sur pied photo (indispensable contre l'effet de bougé générant des images floues). Pour obtenir une image sans vignettage, on recadre l'image avec l'iPhone. De son côté, la longue-vue Swaroski, j'ai "tiré" sur l'œilleton (dévissage pour utilisation normale) et j'ai rentré la partie caoutchouc, afin que le produit soit au plus près de la lentille; rien de compliqué. Je recommande.
