Does it work on split nails

It softens skin. Unsure what you mean..? It can't "glue" together split nails... Split nails may mean a change of diet? More protein?

The tin only shows that it is a skin moisturizer. The word antiseptic does not appear.

Why is it £6 dearer for half the size??

Dont buy that one , buy the other 8oz , its a large tin and it lasts forever, some people just charge more cause they can

Can you use it on piercings

Absolutely. This is miracle stuff. Can get messy, I sometimes pop a load on prior to bedtime and it will get on your pillow and you need to wash your hair the next day. But we'll worth it.
