Great subtle smell. Applies easily. Doesn’t make your hair too greasy. A good hold but not super strong if that’s what you’re going for. Would definitely buy again.

Great product and fast delivery!

I love this product. For reference, I have short pixie hair. It's very fine, but I have a LOT of it. So it's hard to get it to stay up/messy how I want it. I was previously using R+Co's Continental Glossing Wax, which I liked the hold of but obviously it made it glossy, which ended up looking sort of gelled - it served its purpose, but it's not what I was looking for. So when I needed more product, I decided to try this one. I really love it. It gives the same flexible hold, but without making it look like it has product in it. Obviously it makes your hair a little sticky so it stays in place, but not excessively so like other products. And the best part is my hair still looks matte when I use it. Super easy to move my hair around, but stays in place one I have it how I like it and it gives it SOOOOO much volume. I hate hair spray so this is great. Like I said, I have a lot of hair, so it's been hard to find a product that gives me the voluminous messy look while still keeping it matte. So I'm glad I finally found something! It's a little expensive for me, so hopefully it'll last a while. You don't have to use much for it to work, so if you have thinner/less hair than I do I wouldn't worry about using it too fast. But I tend to go through products faster since I have more hair, so we'll see. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this product if it fits your needs!

By far one of the best hair creams I’ve been using. Keeps my hair in place for almost the entire day and the smell isn’t half bad. My only complaint is after using it for 8 months, I’ve noticed that it turns my hair slightly orange. I have blonde hair and in photos the effect is very noticeable. The top of my head (where I style it) will have an orange tint after putting this in my hair. I have a #1 fade on the sides and the color difference between my natural hair and where it has product in it is just pronounced enough that someone else might notice. It’s become extremely frustrating because no other hair cream feels as light in my hair, is as easy to style, or holds as long without feeling waxy or greasy. Fix the color issue and it deserves 5 stars.

Great paste for a slicked back look or pushing back hair while dry. Next day hair is natural, not greasy or limp.

After trying many different brands and types of styling products, I believe I may have found my Holy Grail with this one. My hair changed alot in the last decade, due to stress, hormones, entering middle age, etc. so I needed to update my hair care routine. Control Paste is exactly what I needed and then some. I purchased for taming cowlicks that popped up with a new hair style, but was pleasantly surprised at the volume and thickness I got out of this, too. I also received compliments on how shiny my hair looked after using this. I love that it's a buildable product. I was able to use a good amount without looking greasy. Great smell, not overpowering to my sensitive olfactory system. Nice texture and washes off easily.
