A really great artist pencil set at such a great price. They blend really well and the B pencils are so soft.

I am only a beginner at drawing and I am trying out different pencils to see what suits me. I found the B range very good and ordered 7,8,and 9B loose stock. The pencils are lighter than my derwent which I actually wanted as I am heavy handed. The HB pencil felt strange and was a lighter tone than the H pencil which was also softer than the HB. The H range of pencils were to me quite hard and scratchy but the pencils were still worth getting for the softer B grades which I liked a lot.

This are a good quality set of pencils if you are some who has a knack for drawing, personally I prefer stadetler because of the grip and the way they shade but that is just what I prefer using.

Lovely pencils, glide on Bristol board smoothly, blends well.

This is a great set of pencils, worth every penny. Used with the right paper and not forgetting a good Koh-I-Noor eraser Even I can manage achieving some fairly respectable drawings.".....good pencils

The positive reviews led me to try these rather than my usual more expensive choice; it was a mistake. There is no consistency across the tonal range with at least two lower grades producing darker tones than some of the higher. The feel is also inconsistent with some grades very dry and gritty and others very waxy. The problems that this brings are obvious as combining pencils across the range is very difficult. They are a low cost option and adequate for limited use; for serious work I would strongly advise using one of the premium brands such as Faber Castell or Mars Lumograph.

Der Artikel ist zügig und heil bei mir angekommen. Das Metalletui ist edel und die Bleistifte in verschiedenen Härtegraden haben eine super Qualität. Ich kann sehr gut damit arbeiten. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit den Stiften und kann sie weiterempfehlen. Für diese Qualität ist der Preis unschlagbar!

My daughter, the artiste, is very impressed with this set. She absolutely loves them and recommends them for both the amateur, and intermediate sketcher. She won an award with these pencils sketching a picture for Remembrance Day. She says that they take a little getting adjusted to as they are very specific to the task. I'm not an artist but she appears to know what she's talking about and well, she did win an award after all using them.
