This takes about 10 mins to boil, set in your mouth, then rest in ice water. Once done (which is a fairly straightforward exercise), you have a tough mouthguard that is a specific fit for your mouth. Excellent! I have used this in Krav Maga (fortunately not taken a hit yet but this will come I am sure), but it is good having the confidence that my mouth area is protected. This is a Venom product, which means I have confidence in it. I would advise when setting the fit in your mouth, that you bite down as hard as you can and suck all the air out as it sets, so that you get a snug fit that won't fall out. It does state this in the instructions, just thought I would emphasise it here...

I’ve had this and used it for about a year, in sparring and in the ring. I’ve been very happy with it. It feels snug and secure, nothing chafing on my gums, and the extra layer makes me feel my teeth are well protected.

Purchased as an upgrade from their cheaper model, though I prefer my old one. The coloured gel at the front goes very gummy and is easily misshapen if left in the hot water too long. The gel on the bottom of the guard will lock to your lower jaw when your mouth is closed which I find less comfortable, though this could be to provide extra protection. The fitting instructions are easy to follow and the guard fits well.

Perfect product. designed for a purpose. This is the first mouthgaurd I've owned for a long while and they have defo improved a lot. its comfortable and very good quality.

First gum shield ive had that doesnt make me gag as soon as it goes in. Fits well and i like the design

I moulded the gumshield perfectly however when I first used it, it had lost its shape slightly and wouldn't stop falling out. I re-moulded it and it fitted perfectly again. After leaving it to cool, it kept falling out instantly again. It is now fight day and I don't have a gumshield to use hours before my fight. I am now rushing around to find a new one. I would not recommend this product, especially in an emergency!

Item is good, very easy to mould and fits very well. HOWEVER once I put it into the case (and had to bend slightly to do that) its warped the mould and didn't fit anymore. I don't have a particularly wide mouth, its seems a bizarre design that the case would be too narrow to fit the item.
