BOTH CABLES DETORIATRD AFTER SIX MONTHS...!!
Over the past six months, I've been utilizing a set of Zeskit-X Tech Ultra High Speed HDMI cables with my newly installed Sony Home Theatre Setup. While the initial audio-visual quality was satisfactory, a recent inspection revealed a concerning issue. The gold-plated connectors on the cables had significantly deteriorated, exhibiting a noticeable fade from gold to light brown. Clearly experienced detortion in audio-visual quality with lag, breaking... Actually, I bought two cables (2 × 2.5 Meter) and both detoriated same way.Driven by curiosity, I decided to investigate further. Upon dissecting one of the idle cables, I was surprised to find that it lacked the expected five twisted pairs of cables, a critical component of a 2.1 Ultra High Speed HDMI cable. This discovery raised significant concerns about the cable's authenticity and performance. I'm in complete dilemma. To ensure optimal audio-visual quality, I promptly replaced the cables with Audioquest alternatives. This experience serves as a cautionary tale about the importance of verifying the authenticity and quality of HDMI cables, particularly in high-performance home theater setups.
