Does Pure gum contain hidden Plastic like so many other gums?

Are these 100% biodegradable? i.e. no plastics.

I see the seller states here that they are biodegradable, but I don't think this is accurate. There is no mention of it anywhere on the listing or on the official pur website. Biodrgradable gum is incredibly difficult to acheive, so it seems like something that would be forefront of their marketing if it was. Also, the wrapper is definitely plastic, so why would they go through the effort of making biodegradable gum (which is incredibly difficult to do), without making biodegradable packaging (which is easy by using cardboard)? The ingredients state "gum base" without going into specifics about what the makeup is. Most gum companies use petroleum based plastics in this base, so I suspect that's the case here.

Does the Cinnamon flavour taste like big red?

In my opinion it's better, good strong cinnamon hit 👍
