I ordered the wrong size, but it came with a form to arrange a replacement. It looks like loads order the wrong one!Once replaced, I was able to fit the new cable and have the chair back to working order in less than 15 minutes. Really pleased with the item, and hope it will give us several more years wear from the suite!Really pleased. simple to fit. All I needed was a screwdriver.

The recliner cable broke lunch time on Thursday, 4 July.. I phoned DFS and they quoted £45 for the cable and would come and fit it for free but I would need to go into the their store, 40 miles away, and pay for the part which they would then order, delivery about 3 weeks.Searched Amazon and, about 3pm, found and ordered a new cable which arrived yesterday, 5 July. Fitted it when I got in from work, took about half an hour, but it was unfortunately the wrong size. My fault for not taking accurate measurements.So at 6.30pm after taking instructions from the suppliers website and ensuring that I was choosing the right cable I put in the order expecting it to be delivered some time next week.Wow!! It arrived first available post, professionally packaged ready for fitting, 1 pm 6 July.Fitted and working, 2pm 6 July.Excellent, Excellent Customer Service..

The cable was a bit too long .but my hubby is very handy so he cut a bit off so it works a treat. Lovely to be able to get my legs up again.

OK, the best thing I did was watch how to replace a recliner chair cable on You Tube, this helped me to fully see what needed to be done. The Amazon choice for cables was then easier to decide which cable I needed. The product arrived inside a couple of days and it was spot on first time. It took me about 10 minutes from unpacking to finishing the replacement as I hadn't done this previously, I could probably now do it in 5 minutes.So, good product, not rocket science to replace, anyone could do this, and it was cheap as chips.Good old Amazon

We knew cable was longer than our old one but important measurement was the same. It worked but was hard to pull husband did some DIY to chair rerouted cable now works perfectly ordered another one which arrived next day. Really easy to install

This was too short for my reclining sofa, but unfortunately it has to be snapped and broken to remove it again. I bought another one off a different site.

This is the second replacement cable I have bought from this seller. Each time I ordered after 4pm and received it the next day! Does what it is meant to do and fairly easy to fit. Wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.
