Great for telling time
This is a great item for those teaching kids how to tell time, and telling time the old way and not the digital clocks. Analog clock's are being lost in teaching, and I as a daycare provider am thrilled that I can still teach the original way in which I was taught.

Perfect for classroom!
This is perfect for my kindergarten class. We always practice digital and analog clocks and I usually have to use mini-whiteboards and laminate a ton of clocks. This is much more convenient!

Fell apart
On the first day my 6th graders began to use them the clock hand fell apart from the fastener. It wasn't just one clock, it was a few of them.

Instructional at home and in classroom
This magnetic clock set is a great learning tool for a primary classroom or at home. The clock time can be set in analog mode (using clock hands) and written in digital mode (using dry erase pen), showing if the child is able to read the face of the clock correctly. In a classroom situation, there are 24 mini clocks to pass out for students to use while the teacher uses the large clock for demonstration. The large clock is completely magnetic, with the reverse being a solid magnetic coating. It adheres very well to a large, magnetic surface. The mini individual clocks, however, only have a small magnet on the reverse to hold the hands in place. This does not allow the mini clocks to adhere vertically to a large magnetic surface. The mini clocks slide down and off the vertical magnetic surface. But they work great when used laying flat on an even surface. The teacher/parent can write the time in the digital space on the mini clocks and the student/child can set the clock hands on the clock’s face to show the same time. All pieces wipe clean when used with dry erase markers. All pieces store neatly in the box they arrive in. This set would be a helpful tool and good gift for a school teacher of primary age students.

Fun set for teachers to use to teach telling time with digital resources
This is a review for the Simply Magic "Learning Clock" set for teachers to use to help teaching how to tell time. This set includes one large magnetic clock (11.75" x 11.75") and 24 smaller clocks (4.33" x 4.33") on a more flexible laminated paper type of material. All of the clocks can be written on with dry erase markers and cleaned, so these are great for classroom usage. The smaller clocks could be bent pretty easily, especially in the hands of the kids who would be using these. The hands on the clocks spin pretty freely without much resistance, but there were a couple of them that were a bit loose. I wondered how long they would stay on the clock once they were in the hands of elementary students. There were two short shoelaces in the carrying case with the clocks, and two holes in the large magnetic clock but there was nothing to explain what they are really for. I assume it's for hanging it up, but I'm also unsure why you'd need to hang it with shoestrings if it is magnetic. One great thing about this set is that it had a QR code that you could scan, and it took you to online resources to help with digital clocks as well. There were more than 20 different activities at the ebook where the QR code took you to, so this is not only the physical product of clocks but teaching activities too.All in all, this is a great value for elementary school teachers. Just watch out for those students who like to bend things!

Disappointed by Quality
As a teacher, I really wanted to love these and make them a staple in my classroom. I was disappointed by the quality, however. The clock hands were made of cardboard that started to fall apart during the first use. I was then back on the hunt for clocks to use.

Great set for a classroom
While not everyone spends a lot of time or focus on teaching kids how to read analog clocks anymore, I think it's definitely something kids should be exposed to. This set is a great teaching tool to introduce young learners to the analog clock faces. The teacher's clock is the only clock that is magnetic and really the only one that needs to be. It's large enough that it could be easily seen throughout a classroom if placed on a wall-mounted whiteboard. The additional small clocks are perfectly sized for the hands of young learners and the hands move easily.I appreciate that the front of the cards is easily written on with dry erase markers and easily cleaned after use. This is a really nice sized set that is appropriately priced for what's included in the set.I've tried several products from this company and have been impressed with the value and quality across the board. I highly recommend this brand and product.

A math clock for the whole class to learn how to tell the time and
This set comes with one large clock (11.8inch x 11.8inch, magnetic piece) and 24 pcs of small clocks (4.4in x 4.4in, regular plastic piece) to work with, all compatible with whiteboard pens. This would be a perfect set for the whole class to participate in clock arithmetic learning activities. The hour-hand (short) and minute-hand (long) are both rotatable, however be aware of where exactly that hour-hand is placed when explaining concepts as 2 o'clock sharp or 3:30. I've decided to donate the whole set to my younger child's First-Grade class, I believe both teacher and students would enjoy/benefit from the hands-on teaching/learning experience with this set, visualization really is the crucial part so to say.
