Great dual voltage kettle for USA
Stainless steel, hidden element, boils 500ml of water, so practical for a travel mug.Have given this a good try-out on a 3-week trip to the US. Abandoned the little cups and took our own travel mugs. Filled with 500ml of water it takes around 7-8 minutes to boil from cold. It does boil for several seconds before it automatically switches off.Re-fill and boil again straight away, no problem.Does have a very short cable which is fixed (maybe 40cm long, haven't measured) so the whole thing has to go with you to the tap.We kept the box to store in and protect it, and without the little cups inside it perfectly fitted an 80-bag foil pack of teabags inside the kettle, with a couple of plastic spoons and the US adapter inside the box.Good buy and ideal for the US where hotels, Airbnbs etc rarely have electric kettles.

Fast-boiling
Bought this for taking to a US hotel, as not equipped with coffee-making facilities and I can't survive without my morning cuppa!I found this to be a decent, compact size. The cups that were supplied with the kettle were probably too small, so I took my own with me.I probably would have preferred if the cable was detachable, it would've been more compact, but it was fine.I found the kettle to be faster-boiling than my normal kettle back at home, probably due to the lesser volume of water.I noted you have to be careful when pouring the boiling water, as steam escaped through the lid on top, and this could be dangerous to cause burns. All in all, I am pleased with my purchase and feel it does what it is expected. Definitely an 8/10, I'd say.

Disappointed!
A little disappointed with this kettle. You have to remove the lid in order to fill it and you end up with water dripping from the lid into the kitchen bench.

Nice kettle, BUT
This kettle was perfect for my holiday. However, the on/off switch broke after 5 days of use, it was very difficult to get it to stay on to boil the kettle. I have contacted the company for a replacement.I’ve contacted the company and they are sending a replacement kettle. All dealt with very promptly.

Brilliant if you live on your own or take on holiday
Love this kettle! Godsend if you are travelling on public transport and need to have things compact. I like the 500ml mark inside. I use it as my main kettle now because it boils up faster than my bigger kettle and saves electricity too. I wish I had bought this sooner. I've had absolutely NO issues with this! I'd recommend it for anyone! It's coming with me wherever I will go where there's no tea making facilities. If you want to make 2 large mugs of tea you'll need to boil up twice but you could push it to 550ml which will be fine if you use milk in your tea or coffee. I use mine also for boiling water for my instant pasta
