5 digit version is proper heavy duty
Reviews are all mixed up and sometimes just wrong. This is for the 5 digit version. The tumblers are smooth, the shackle is heavy duty, the outer casing is platic which is great for repelling water and avoiding scratches. All round a great piece of kit. Look carefully at the dimensions to be sure it fits your particular needs.

Simple lock, fussy combination setting.
This won't be the most useful of reviews, but I suspect not many are. We only got this for a gym locker so no testing in the rain. Who knows how secure it really is? I had a try following some videos about picking combination locks and it didn't play ball at all (good). But then maybe I'm just useless at picking locks (probability: high :-) ).Since I'm not going to destructively test it, I also don't know how good it is on that score. Truth be told, I avoided the unknown brands on here because I've seen some shockingly bad locks which seem to be being produced with zero real expertise or care. At least Squire has a brand name to protect and some track record of what works and doesn't so I figure they're going to make some effort at least. Compare that to a make you've not heard of and won't be here in six months. It works easily enough with the combination wheels having a nice feel (not too loose, not tight). Setting the combination requires removing a screw so is perhaps a bit more faff than other locks. But since you do this very rarely and it improves security (there's no access to the screw when it's locked), I'd say this is a good trade-off.The lock is encased in plastic so it's not possible to see what it's made of. They claim dual compound wotsit etc - who knows?Bottom line, it's a cheap combination lock but not from the cheapest unknown manufacturer. Provides a simple deterrent to protect low value things. Happy enough for our purposes. Personally I'd get something much better with wall to wall good reviews if trying to protect a shed or whatever.

Great lock
Secure padlock used on oil tank outside, its held up with the weather, after having our oil stolen twice, there is now damage to the padlock but whoever it is hasn't managed to break the lock so very secure oil safe :)Very easy to use and to set code

Very secure strong lock
Very sturdy and sturdy, doesn't weigh a lot but Still strong, the numbers are easy to read , easy to set up , and you can use it in a lot of different security. The lack performs well , and the numbers are easy to see. This lock is very versatile. And comes at a reasonable price. And of course you've got no key to loose.

Overpriced, Weak, Feels Like a Toy
This feels very cheap and plastic, like a padlock for a little girl's diary. The numbers are difficult to line up and do not click positively into place like you would expect. For £14 I expected much better from a known brand. I also brought 2 generic combination locks for £7 that are much more sturdy and actually made of metal. Finally, there are no instructions for how to set the lock, they were so cheap they couldn't even be bothered to include them, instead you have scan a QR code or something; I didn't get that far because after feeling the poor build quality it got dumped straight into the draw never to be used.

Not that great for outside
Bought for outside gate. Solid lock but didn't last that long before becoming difficult to use. Probably great for indoor use.

Absolutely perfect for the gym
I keep my gym padlock locked onto the outside my gym bag, which helps me to remember to take it (rather than simply keeping it in a pocket somewhere).Previous locks have required me to constantly lock and unlock the padlock when I'm not actually wanting to secure anything, just to attach it to the bag. Over time all that additional wear has an effect on the digits and you get through more padlocks than you probably should. The fact that this lock can be closed without actually locking it, and opened again by simply pressing the button on the bottom, is brilliant for gym use. It's a minor thing but well worth the extra in my mind.It also feels really well made and I have every expectation that it's going to last a LONG time.

Not so sure it's as strong as it should be
Within weeks, a plastic button on the button broke in half and the manufacturer sent me a free replacement.
