Great Rodent Blocker!
I used this to protect the wiring in my old mini van from rodents. It is parked outside and we seldom drive it and rats tried to nest in the engine compartment. I stuffed this course steel wool on top of and around the wires and basically it keeps them away from the wire. They say rats and mice do not like steel wool, and after a few months it has proven to be true. I also put empty bottles tucked in where they would block access. The down side of doing this is the time you spend removing this stuff before you drive the car. You also need to disconnect the battery first. ALWAYS! The rat damage was extensive and expensive and this stops further attacks on a basically stored vehicle.

Good product!
I used other brands that mice were removing all the time as if it were nothing. After I tried this one, it was the first day they didn’t manage to remove it to get under the patio kitchen. Use gloves, as I cut my fingers with it—but it’s really worth it!

Think it's doing the trick
I bough this because I have random mice sneak in the house. I did a sweep of the nooks of where they may come in and filled in the space with the wool. So far I have caught another mouse in the two place I normally find them in the trap. I used it around some pipes and spaces in wood. Easy to use and I use tin snips to cut into sections.

Very strong
Works great, very sharp. Use gloves when installing, I cut my fingers on it, but this tells me it should work very well to keep mice out.

The best solution to get mice out in a home
I experimented with various products to address the persistent mouse issue in my home, and it wasn't until I discovered the efficacy of metal mesh that I saw real results. Identifying and sealing all potential entry points became a crucial step in my battle against mice. Despite having door stoppers in place, I observed mice still gaining access from beneath the doors. To counter this, I replaced the door stoppers and strategically applied metal mesh to fill gaps around the doors, particularly focusing on the corners. In addition to reinforcing entry points, I implemented glue traps throughout the house to capture the mice. This method proved successful in trapping and eliminating those already inside. It's been two months since I adopted this comprehensive approach, and I am pleased to report a mouse-free environment. Successfully eradicating mice requires dedication and consistency, as these rodents are persistent and resourceful. In my pursuit of a solution, I discovered that some exterminators were more interested in recurring monthly fees than in addressing the root causes of the mouse problem. Therefore, I took matters into my own hands, emphasizing the importance of personal diligence. I highly recommend incorporating metal mesh into your strategy and maintaining a consistent routine of cleaning and inspecting your living space. Dealing with mice is not a quick fix, but with patience and the right approach, it can be achieved. I share this review with the hope that it proves beneficial in helping others overcome similar mouse-related challenges. While these creatures may be cute, I firmly believe they belong outside, not in our homes.

Bought in bulk and lot of left.
Good amount of steel wool. Used 1 for closing few holes/gaps to prevent rodents and still plenty left for future. Buying bulk worked out cheap. Use gloves to prevent the steel wool to cut skin accidentally.
