Nice toy- my cat goes nuts and keeps bugging me to set it up for her! Once we do, she is mesmerized and plays and rolls around catching the spinning feather until it automatically shuts off. A few hours later, it will automatically restart and once she hears the rustling of the feather against the cloth cover- she's back at it! Cant seem to get enough!The unit lasted about 4 weeks then got very slow. I could hear a gear grinding. I contacted Valonii via Amazon and let them know and ask what I could do to replace the unit. Linda got back to me within a couple of hours and sent a replacement gizmo direct to me! No exchange- no questions asked! Thank you for such upstanding customer service and standing behind your product!

I must say that I'm shocked to see any bad reviews on here. Both my cats love this toy! The first one I got years ago. I just got a second one recently and it's just as amazing! Yes they tear off the feathers but that can be expected with cats. It's nice they have replacement arms so you don't have to buy a whole new set every time they tear off the feathers. This is both my cats favorite toy and they can play it for hours! The fact that it's rechargeable makes it all the better cuz I used to go through batteries like crazy. I recommend this to all my friends who own cats.

I have a middle-aged boy who wasn't overly active and would only occasionally play with toys. I recently took in a younger rescue, who is clearly a hunter, and wanted something that would pique his interest. To my surprise, they BOTH took to this, after a few minutes of it running, and they play with this constantly. The only things I would critique (and the reason for 4 stars) are: the sensor does not appear to work. After 15 minutes, the unit shuts off and I have to constantly turn it back on. A little frustrating for active playing cats. I have another interactive toy that all they have to do is bump it and it will turn back on. The other issue, within a day, they ripped two feathers out of the wand. Thankfully, I was home when this happened. Other than that, it's a great mat for my boys.

Our cats love this toy—it's hands-down their favorite! The motion activation keeps them engaged, and it's been a great way to burn off their energy indoors. We especially appreciate that you can buy replacement feathers, which makes it last a lot longer.The only downside is that it occasionally turns on by itself at night, which can be a little startling. But aside from that, it's an excellent toy and definitely a staple in our house now. Highly recommend for any cat owner!

The media could not be loaded. This started out as HUGE hit with my litter of kittens, they loved it. Then it turned into a huge safety issue. I give this type of toy 5 stars as cats love it, this version has a safety hazard so beware.There is a thin flexible wire that went around the outside of the plastic cover piece. Unbeknownst to me, it had worked it's way partially out of seam it was in and was flapping about whipping the kittens. It took me two days to figure out why the kittens had stopped playing with it. When I realized what was going on I then was very grateful none had been hurt by this wire whipping around. I've been trying to find something to use a cover, so far no luck as my make shift stuff bunches up or they can't see the "mouse" under it.Prior to this, they loved the toy. I had another version of this many years ago that was battery operated and it was a hassle changing the batteries, so I really love that this is rechargeable. It charges fast, no issues there.I didn't find the motion detecting the best. It turned itself off well, but even after the 3 hour mark it was iffy if it turned back on, most of the time I had to go manually turn it back on.So it was a great toy but watch it carefully to be sure that wire doesn't work it's way out and then hurt your cat.Edit...when customer service read the above review they contacted me and sent a replacement. I was quite impressed by their service. But the same thing happened to the second one within two weeks.

So disappointed; not yet 3 months in & it's dead - the motor runs, but the butterfly is dormant as is the undersheet tail. My return time has expired; yet, on the page they have a one year replacement policy. How do I get that, because the kitters love this toy - if only it still worked!

This worked decentlt for a little.It is definitely not motion activated, so don't count on that.The attachments were both destroyed really quickly, the feathers fell out almost instantly as they seemed to barely be attached. The butter fly was broken once my cat started focusing on that due to the feathers being gone. I attached one of their toys to where the feathers were and they still played with it so the attachments breaking fast wasn't too bad as they still had fun with it. I did have to put it away everyso often as they seemed to get bored but after a couple of days they seemed interested again.However, just recently it seems like the motor burned out sadly just a month after the return date. I put it on the charger to see if maybe it was just dieing, butthe motor just sounds like it's grinding and not moving at all. Really was hoping this toy would hold up a little longer given the reviews seemed pretty decent.
