I'm so glad I got this book, I've only completed the first book 2x2 but excited to move on... to the original cube... I think page 37 algorithm is incorrect. The U arrows are going the wrong way... follow the letters not the arrows. Other wise totally recommend!

My kids enjoyed this book and were able to learn how to solve a 2x2 quickly.

I found it a little bit complicated for kids. Too much to read - children aren't that patient. But my Husband liked the book a lot and could finally make it! :)

I can think of no better way than to both keep a kid busy and give them a strong sense of pride and accomplishment than to hand a kid a Rubik’s Cube and this book to solve it. It lays everything out really clearly and has images. It’s really a great gift!

In all the years Rubik's Cubes have been around, I have never been able to solve them. Of course, I never really put any time into it or tried very hard. For some inexplicable reason, I always assumed I was so smart that I could do it in no time. Not! Of course, just about everyone I have ever known has been able to do it. My brother-in-law can do it in a matter of seconds. My wife once actually tried to explain the Rubik's Cube and the "secret" behind it. I'm afraid she was wasting her breath. So when I saw this book, I had to have it and finally unlock the mysterious code of the Rubik's Cube. This book explains in an easy to follow way how to approach the problem and work it out. I didn't even know there were two kinds of Rubik's Cube! It actually is a bit complicated--not beyond the reach of any normal person--so I don't feel so bad that it took me so long. But at last, I have managed to "solve" the Rubik's Cube! Twice!

Do not purchase this book. The instructions are contradictory and flat out wrong. I abandoned the book and went to YouTube. Neither the 2x2 or 3x3 instructions are accurate

This is a well illustrated and explained tutorial on solving the rubik's cube. I really love the way Rubik is a character explaining how to move the pieces just right, clever, engaging and fun!
