Nice weight, god quality and works on my MB 149 fountain pen
Works as described and allow me to take apart my Montblanc 149 fountain pen and readjust the piston filler (only) that the MB service center failed to do correctly.

Works as intended for the P136. Durable.
This wrench works as intended, and it's metal so it's more durable than common plastic wrenches. Because the P136 is partly an imitation of the Mont Blanc 146, some people say this wrench will work on the Mont Blanc as well, but I can't personally confirm that. If it's true, then this is an inexpensive way Mont Blanc 146 owners can service their own pens, because as I understand it, Mont Blanc doesn't supply a wrench and requires the pen to be sent in for warranty work. Even if it's not true, these work well for the P136, and I suspect might work with other pens with similar nib/feed unit dimensions.

Works great for my Montblanc (piston only)!
First off, I bought this for my Montblanc 146 (works for 149 as well since they share the same piston) and I was hoping that this would work for the nib as well, but it does not (6 & 12 - non-modern nib). The notches on the nib end of the wrench (the smaller side) are slightly too big, but are aligned at the 6 & 12 position instead of the modern 8 & 4 position, so one COULD file down the notches a bit, smooth them with some super fine sandpaper and it may just work. But at least I am able to clean the inside of my pen and flush it, which is a good start. Make sure to know and read your pen's warranty (Montblanc) BEFORE doing this, or you will void the warranty if it applies. Mine is vintage, so the warranty no longer applies.

I purchase items like this to have on hand.I also have a few other piston wrenches and make a purchase if I come across one I do not have already.These wrenches can be used with other piston pens not from the same manufacturer.A good number of piston parts are of kinda of the same specs and thus a good reason to have a couple/few; just be careful when fitting before using.BTW : I am pleased with this purchase.
