Q: What are these candles made of? beeswax or soy?

A mix of paraffin and vegetable wax (from palm oil I believe). The church / altar candles contain beeswax.

Q: Is the bottom of the candle smooth or serrated?

Bottom of candles are smooth and i would recommend them if you are thinking of a purchase - i will re-order as they represent extremely good value vs the daft price i was paying in john lewis for exactly the same candles

Q: Are these tested on animals or do they contain any animal products? and please don't state 'you won't be eating them' as you previously have.

First off; I never, ever, stated, "you wont' be eating them". Where'd you get that from? These candles are neither tested on animals or contain animal products as stated by Price's Candles competition.
