The book is great. But there was a small damage at the back of the book. Except that every other thing is fine.

As a fresher to Java, this book will give me a comprehensive information and useful resource to master my Java concepts in intuitive way as the best selling author Herbert Schildt is a professional in the Java language. The book shipped to me was packed well and every pages inside the book are of very good quality and easy to read. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone who wants an all in one Java book.

A new collection in the shelf had arrived 🤗. Purchased a copy of the same author almost after 22 years 😀 Java, The Complete Reference , 12th Edition, covering upto Java SE 17 by Herbert Schildt, Tata McGraw Hill publishers !It was very neatly packed and was of a good quality print/material. Though it was a bit over pricey (Rs 3722.40 INR) but it was worth it I feel because it was an imported edition and it took time to delivery as well (took 20+ days). It will very well serve as a great reference to the Java Programming Language and an anytime quick refresher!Note: The cover images are all in good colour, but the actual content is printed in Black & White only. (those who look for this details)

This is a very good book. A text book for hard-core Java lovers.The great thing about this book is that it comes up with pinpoint necessary details about most topics. If you are completely new to java then you may need 2-3 readings of many topics. And, you will end up with solid foundation of Java Programming.

The latest 12th edition covers the latest LTS version of JAVA i.e. JAVA SE 17 and that's the benefit of this book. If you want to gain knowledge and up to date with the latest JAVA version, then it's the best book for you. You can download the Code package from their website so that you can be able to work on it.Go for it...

Since Java 17 is the second LTS version, learning it will go a long way(comparatively) and a must read for someone who wants to learn Java. Java 17 newer features and topis are discussed in detail.I am happy that I got the genuine copy of the book. Pages are silky smooth and are of good quality.The book is pricey though... 4200 INR is too much.Overall I am very happy with the purchase
