Fiskars Softouch Micro-Tip Scissors

These are lovely scissors in the hand & to use.I bought them to use only on myself for general hair-snipping, personal grooming type things (not nails though), & I'm glad I did.Excellent, but being what they are you'd better have your glasses on & be concentrating 100%.Having big hands anyway, my recent inheritance of arthritic bumpy knuckles were making handling standard grooming scissors a real chore to use.. I'd just had enough.I wasn't even aware that squeezy scissors existed until by chance I saw a picture of a pair being used.These are very neat, sit comfortably in the palm & with short enough blades to be really accurate & usable.. They have that pleasing feeling a good quality small pair of wire snips has.There's a built-in soft grip covering on the grip-side of the handles.They are lightly spring-loaded with a small thumb clip to lock the handles closed.The blades are a decent hefty quality/thickness but not in the slightest bit lumpen.. They really handle like something much smaller.It took me a few uses to get comfortable working with these scissors, using extreme caution as my guide, as these blades have seriously sharp & accurate points.I know it's obvious but I think it's worth noting, that especially with the hand power of the grip being used to do the cutting rather than mainly finger power, skin will be snipped just as easily & smoothly as hair will, the scissors will not miss a beat..No, I'm not saying these things would prepare a chicken carcass but I am saying you could butcher yourself right enough unless you're being really careful.. I mean these things are sharp & I certainly wouldn't be using this type of scissors for what I'm using them for if choice was on my side!As the stamped blade says "Fiskars Made in Finland", the quality speaks for itself.I get the impression that if I take care of these scissors, ie. only used by me for what they were bought for & remaining hidden from my loved ones cutting of paper/tape/emery boards/cardboard etc & of course I don't do myself a mischief in the meantime, I'll be well satisfied with these scissors for many years to come.Great job.. These are fantastic. Bought myself a pair of these a few years ago and have been very heavy handed using them for everything, fabric, heavy cardboard, paper - you name it.Finally time for a replacement pair after sustained daily use and they are just as excellent. Very ergonomic, the spring system helps a lot when doing a lot of cutting, stops your hands aching when doing lots of work and they arrive lovely and sharp (especially the ends). These are quite little but perfect size for crafting, especially small, detailled projects using a variety of materials. Would opt for a larger pair for cutting bigger lengths of fabric, but these do work very well if needed. All round brilliant though, couldn't recommend enough.

Bought to help with carpal tunnel syndrome, helps a little with this and takes some getting used to with the spring resistance. Scissors are excellent for fine detail cutting as well as standard paper cutting. Liked that there is a sliding lock when not in use to keep scissors in closed position and the rubber handles made them easy to grip and comfy. Had for a few years now and scissors still going strong, still nice and sharp with moderate paper crafting these past years.

Fiskars spring-loaded scissors are not the cheapest but I find that they are great for those of use with manual dexterity problems. I find it painful to pull open scissors when doing a lot of cutting out so being able to relax for that portion of the motion is much more comfortable for me. These are pretty fine scissors for more delicate work than the larger dressmaker's set that I have. It is yet to be seen how long they stay sharp but if if reduces pain and allows you to do more work I would say they are great.

These are great snippers they are a dream to work with as they are very sharp.

Nice to hold, little effort needed to use

These are excellent if you have hand problems as easier to use than normal scissors. Would recommend them.

Great for all, but really great if you have hand issues. These are easy to hold and use and so far very sharp and cut easily. They did take a little longer to get here, but was advertised that way. Also, the company doesn't offer easy tracking, and is still showing on my account as in process. So I don't know what that's about. I wish it was easier to communicate with this company. But the product is good and as advertised.

Vi estas tijeras en un video de YouTube en el cual hacian manualidades y las busqué y funcionan genial para cortar papel y pequeñas cosas. Como tienen la punta muy fina puedes cortar cosas con mucha precisión y como tienen el muelle son muy cómodas.

Tagliare mi ha sempre creato fastidio in corrispondenza dei due manici delle forbici comuni.Queste forbici, invece, le ho viste usare da una signora su un video di crafting, e mi sono incuriosita. Praticamente la mano rimane libera e non si affatica. Mi sono fidata delle ottime recensioni e devo dire che rispecchiano la realtà. Ottimo taglio di precisione, si maneggia o meravigliosamente, diventa quasi un piacere tagliare! Io sono pure mancina e temevo non fossero adatte, visto che c'è scritto per destrorsi.... invece le trovo ugualmente comode e il taglio è ottimo. Ho preso le più piccole da 16cm e ci ho tagliato per ora il pannolenci, ma vanno bene anche per feltro e carta ovviamente.Certo, sono adatte per le rifiniture e per fare tagli di precisione non per materiale troppo spesso. Le consiglio, sono una svolta.
