It is great for stock, soup and chili

This is a great pot, the only complaint I have is the lid knob comes loose now and then.Have had it for 2 years now and use it a lot for stocks, soup, stew, and making beer.I put it in the dishwasher and the finish is holding up just fine.

Like others, my stock pot developed chips in the enamel within a few years of purchase (the posted pictures look similar). Shame on me, but I didn't follow up promptly. Turns out the warranty is "limited" to five years from date of purchase. So much for the "lifetime" description -- but maybe five years is the expected life? In any event, fool me once.

This is an exact replacement for our old one with one exemption. The inside is an ugly dull yellow color. We were going to return it, but had to pay shipping, so we gave it out for a wedding present. The old one was white on the inside too...
