Great product, personally like the shine it gives if you are generous with the application.Use a little or a lot, it does not matter as it washes out easily.

It could be that my hair is now too long for this product (thanks for the lockdowns Boris) I find that the hold is strong initially but a gust of wind is enough to knock it out of place, I don't think I should use more as I would be using too much. Overall this product is brilliant, it smells good, it's easy to wash out - being water based. Easy to apply. I would recommend to anyone.

My hair is straight and really thick so this is the only stuff that works for me, after trying loads of different kinds. It’s a slick-look pomade. Some tips on using it: always melt it with a hairdryer first so it’s nearly liquid when applied. Putting it on slightly damp hair makes it a bit easier to shape at first but putting it on blow dried hair gives it a more solid hold all day, even in the gym.

Don't expect a major, 'hard' hold like you get from certain water-based pomades (those that might feature boxers on the lid). But you do get a decent, flexible hold that really does wash out easily. No irritation or powdering or itch!

If you want something with the hold of a grease pomade yet washes out as easily as a water based pomade then this is the perfect product. I wear a site helmet all day at work yet a quick adjust with my fingers the quiff is still there. I've tried dozens of different pomades and this is up there with the best.

A little upset with the condition of the product. It was dried and cracked as you can see in the picture. However, the nice smell and little miosture is still there and i can still use it. Hence, the three star review.

Poor hold, expensive, plus had an allergic reaction. Nowhere near as good as clay version of Dapper Dan

j’utilise Dapper Dan depuis plus d’un ans maintenant et elle est juste extraordinaire, pour vos coupes style entre 1900/1980 c’est la meilleure, rendue ultra brillant maintenu toute la journée pas besoin de se recoiffer et ayant les cheveux très très frisé il ma fallut une forte et celle ci est juste parfaite !

Bought this out of curiosity after a rewatch of O Brother Where Art Thou, holds up to the movie with great smell and greater hold.
