A fabulous book beautifully illustrated. Whether you are nine or ninety or anywhere in between, these timeless, classic stories are a must read for children and adults alike. Anastasiya Archipova's fabulous illustrations draw the reader further into the fantasy worlds portrayed. Some tales like 'The Emperor's New Suit' appeal as much to a seven year old as to a university student studying politics or philosophy - so rich are the underlying messages that the story conveys. I couldn't recommend this book highly enough.

Great for the children inside of all of us

This is a delightfully illustrated book which I will be using on an adult study course on the stories of Hans Christian Andersen. Unfortunately, it only contains two of the six stories I need but he wrote very many stories.

For this price, this is a bargain. Excellent paper, hard cover, a bookmark ribbon and amazing drawings. I recommend it.

Beautifully illustrated versions of some the best known fairy tales including The little Mermaid. A great gift and something to be treasured by adults and children alike.
