Great memory upgrade
Upgraded my 11 year old HP Notebook from 4 to 16GB and now it performs as good as a new laptop. If all you need a laptop for is browsing and using Office, upgrading the RAM is a very cheap alternative to buying a new laptop. Very easy to install as there’s so many YouTube video tutorials as well.

Try this product before upgrading your laptop
I was debating the purchase of a new laptop as my 10 year old HP Envy DV6 Notebook used for CAD and image processing was painfully slow. When I came across this upgrade for a fraction of the price of a new laptop I thought it would be worth the shot. The computer has got a new lease of life and is now running my programmes and multiple windows without fault. It is very important to check this product is compatible with your laptop prior to use. I suggest inspecting what your current RAM type is prior to purchasing.

Synology compatible at a very good price
I took a chance for this to be compatable to upgrade the 2GB in a Synology DS415+ to 8GB. It works and the performance increase is unreal. A serious contender for the best 11 quid I have spent ever, let alone this year.

Excellent... It Worked!!
I have a Synology DS918+ NAS, with the original OEM RAM (only 4GB).So I purchased these to upgrade my ram to 16GB. They're working great, after inserting & rebooting my NAS.I logged in to double checked to see if my NAS had recognised the new ram & it was all good. I'm very happy.

Excellent upgrade to old HP Essentials Laptop
I bought a cheap i3 laptop from HP several years ago.HP - Compaq HP 15-ac174na4gb of ram slow hdd but the cheapest model with an i3 not a celeron. It was slow back then and even slower now.So I had a spare SSD so thought id upgrade when I had the back off I noticed that there was a spare ram slot and a single 4gb stick installed.Upon checking the Crucial website I saw it could support 16gb of ram. So I came to amazon to buy them as Crucial only did replacement 4gb sticks.I ordered 2x 8gb ram sticks and they arrived extremely well packaged. They slotted in easily and were recognised by the system straight away.So I now have a £150 laptop with approx £50 worth of parts in total making it a 16gb Ram laptop with 500gb SSD.Very happy.I also purchased an Disk Drive SSD caddy to utilise the old hard drive. So the laptop is also now dual drive.Very happy. Great quality Ram. Worked as expected and recognised by the system right away.I

Incredibly easy to install in my Lenovo G50-30!
I love tinkering with old PC and laptops, but I'm far from being an expert. I have this old Lenovo G50-30 that had Linux on it, but I recently put Chrome Flex OS on it to bring it back to life a bit. It wasn't bad, just a bit slow.Instead of buying a new system for work, I had an idea - what if you could upgrade the RAM inside the laptop? I had a google and saw that you can upgrade it fairly easily. Found this stick of RAM for a great price, 8GB instead of the stock 4GB. Even though I can't change the processor (it's soldered to the motherboard) I figured an inexpensive RAM upgrade would be worth a try.All I had to do was remove the backplate (three screws) and pop the old RAM stick out, and push this one into its place. Reapplied the screws, powered on the laptop -- and it's SIGNIFICANTLY quicker. I can load up new browser tabs with ease and the loading time is half what it used to be. Makes working on it a breeze! I urge you to give it a go!
