Perfect for AT&T Netgear M6 Router
Where we are located, we currently do not have any high speed options available. It's one of those situations that we should, but we are still scratching our heads to why we don't. Anyhow, we are using AT&Ts hotspot router as that is the only option we have here. Looked into T-Mobile and Verizon for their high speed 5G setups, no luck. We are right on the end of a band that stretches out from the closest town so our phones is usually sitting at 1 bar of 5G service. Although, this router is capable of pulling in more signal due to the internal antenna design. Speeds were decent on the Down: 40-50mbps, upload: 2-5mbps. Fairly consistent ping under 90ms.Decided to buy the 2x2 MIMO antenna to see if we could get anymore gain from our current setup.. works wonderfully! While the download speed is capped at 50mbps for us, it reaches it with ease. Upload speed took the biggest jump to: 18-28mbps. Ping has been consistently under 70ms. Webpages would load before the antenna but the pictures would take awhile to load. That problem is gone. This antenna has actually made us feel like we have a solid internet. Streaming is crisp, and gaming is excellent!Biggest thing I can say for this product: your results may vary. Their instruction manual is detailed and on point. Positioning of the antenna is paramount. If you are chasing any kind of additional gain from a hotspot network, give this a try. While the price is steep for the kit that includes the low-loss cable, every part in the box felt like a quality product.Satisfied customer here! Thank you, waveform!

PERFECT product, PERFECT customer service, scary fast speeds!
The media could not be loaded. I originally started my antenna project because I am living in a 5G / Wi-Fi dead zone.Just using my modem, the Sagemcom Fast 5688W Gateway from with 5G from T-Mobile, I was getting a measly 2mbps.I was so frustrated that I couldn't even stream a video without it buffering every few seconds. Forget YouTube, it was like my entire computer went back 30 years!I looked around for a high-quality antenna that worked with my Sagemcom, so I decided to try the MIMO 2x2 Panel External Antenna... and I am so glad I did!Set up was a breeze. The instructions that they posted on the site were very clear, and I was able to get the modded Sagemcom connected to the antenna, and then up and running in just about an hour.I was also VERY impressed with the customer service. I had a few questions about the antenna, and they were able to answer them all just about instantly over SMS.The results are spectacular!I am now getting a whopping 300mbps! That's a 150x increase!I can now stream videos in HD without any buffering, and I can even play online games without any lag.I am so happy with my purchase, and I highly recommend this antenna to anyone who is looking for a significant boost in their 5G internet speed.

Worked for me but YMMV
The instructions clearly say that it may take some work to find a good location for this, which was true in my case. I live in a marginal signal area about 7.5 miles from a tower. Previously my Alcatel Linkzone 2 hotspot allowed me to consistently get a 1-2 bar signal and at least 1.5Mbps and sometimes up to 4Mbps - horrible by today's standards but at least I had internet and could watch videos even if not in HD. The Linkzone had to be positioned in an upstairs window facing the tower. T Mobile then changed me to a Franklin T10 hotspot which usually got no signal or poor signal, so I bought this antenna and located hidden antenna ports in the T10. Initially didn't work, even outside on an upstairs landing- zero improvement, but before sending it back decided to put antenna 6 feet higher in second floor attic with 12 foot leads going down to the hotspot below. After several position changes I went from 0 bars to consistent 3 bars, now getting consistent 3 to 7 Mbps down and 0.5 to 1.5 up. Still not great by urban standards, but when you live in the middle of nowhere it feels wonderful. I still had to position this just right or signal strength went down, so you may need to work to get it right. I'm eventually going to put it outside just under the roof peak once I get gumption to set up a long ladder. I think the Hardi plank cement siding may be reducing the signal in the attic.

Worked great on my RV
I ordered this on a weekend. Then I called Waveform tech support on Monday. Tech Support was very helpful. I was told that this antenna mount was actually made for the eve of a home. But I elected to use it on my motorhome. I mounted the antenna right behind my AC unit so it was shielded from wind as I drive. I did use a bungee cord as a secondary hold down to measure for safety. Because of the panel design, the antenna will pick up a wide range of directionality yet because it’s not Omni directional it will increase signal to noise ratio by eliminating noise from the 180° direction behind the antenna. I told Tech Support that I had two primary goals. The first goal was to receive cell signals when camping rurally in my RV when cell signals were not very strong and bandwidth was poor. I was currently in Senator Wash Az, about 60 miles south of Quartzsite Az. My second goal was to be able to drive and utilize the antenna if needed. Tech Support said the driving factor would be best served by an Omni directional antenna, but the first goal would not be served well by the Omni directional antenna due to no gain factor. The flat panel antenna increases signal to noise ratio and this gives a gain which improves cell signal and bandwidth. So when I received the antenna, before actually mounting it to the roof I mocked up the installation temporarily and did some testing. The panel antenna did improve my signal and bandwidth. I used Speedtest by Ookla to make comparisons. My AT&T MR 1100 Netgear hotspot tested at about 25 Mb per second download speed with no antenna attached. With the Waveform panel antenna attached and pointed in the correct direction. My bandwidth went up to 49 Mb per second. Quite an improvement out in the boonies. As a second test, I wanted to see if I can drive with the antenna down and still receive a decent signal. So I lowered the antenna mast with the panel pointing straight upward from the roof. I thought this upward direction might receive a signal omni-directionally. I then used SpeedTest again and still had 25mbps. That’s doable for me. With 80 to 85% of my driving being on highways and in town, my bandwidth should be much greater most of the time. And when rural, I should still have an OK signal while driving most of the time. I highly recommend Waveform for their excellent products and Tech Support.

Unbelievable custormer service and support
I wanted this antenna to improve the signal I get from T-Mobile cellular internet. I get a decent signal, but during times of heavy usage when everyone is home streaming movies or playing games, there is not enough bandwidth - to the point that sometimes I couldn't even log onto a website much less stream a movie. This antenna picks up much more signal and I now have reliable internet. (I'm in the country where there are none of the conventional optical cable internet options available). But even better than the antenna is the unbelievable support at Waveform. You can call or text them and they help with setup, installation and anything else you need. And that is really important because you need to get inside your modem and make some wiring changes to attach the antenna. Their documentation is superb and further help is a simple text message away.I have never had such a satisfying experience with any company - not ever. Waveform and it's support team are exceptional. It is now a few weeks later and I need to return this - the antenna is great but T-Mobile's home internet in my area is just a mess. This antenna definitely helps a lot, but when the T-mobile tower is overloaded no antenna is going to help. I'm now just outside the return window and customer service has extended me a few more days to return the antenna while I await a different ISP. There is nothing more that I can say other than that Waveform's customer service is absolutely incredible. Thanks so much!!!
