Big & bright touchscreen, packed with SO many functions too!
While driving, a car stereo is always the center of your audio experience, and thus it will have to be a good one. The “double DIN” name simply refers to the size of your head unit, which means that it is twice as tall as a single DIN. D.I.N stands for “Deutsches Institut für Normung”, a German group that sets industry standards and which once set the standard for all car radios. Newer cars tend not to follow DIN standards for stereos and instead integrate the stereo’s head unit into the dashboard, which could turn a simple radio installation into a nightmare. So, it’s always a good idea to read your car’s manufacturer service manual before to order a new radio, to double check about how difficult removing the stock one is. That said, the B700 from ESLYYDS comes with everything you need to play all kinds of files on the go. It features the newest Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, so you can make and receive clear calls hands-free, or stream your favorite music from any app without any drop. Plus, you can set up navigation too, on a much bigger screen than your phone. There’s also HD radio built-in, so you can enjoy a higher quality of radio transmission, wherever you go. The phone-link (and mirror) functionality allows you to plug in your phone via a USB-C to USB cable (not included), to the USB port (in front) of the radio. Once connected, everything you see or do on the phone will be mirrored on the radio’s screen, and you will also be able to control everything on your phone through the unit’s touchscreen, which is also quick and responsive. Plus, the front USB port has enough output power, allowing you to also charge your phone when you’re on the move. Another kind of “buried” function this radio has, was that you can even use the rear A/V input to play videos for your kids when you’re on the move. Alternatively, connect the (included!) backup camera so you can see where you’re going when you’re parking in tight spots. Keep in mind though that the A/V port is located in the rear of the unit, and thus you will have to either just use it for the backup camera, or plug in a special RCA style video extension cord (to purchase separately) to bring up front, to make this plug accessible once the radio is installed, to be able to connect your movie player. The unit also comes with two remote controls. One that look like a remote with full button’s functionality, and another smaller one that is designed to fit on your car’s driving wheel. This is a nice touch in my opinion, because when I am driving, I don’t want to be looking for the remote, or messing up with one that may need my attention. Instead, when driving I can easily access the small remote mounted on my wheel and control my radio, without having to move my eyes much from the road. In conclusion, choosing the right double DIN radio for your car without breaking the bank, can be a bit of a headache. There are so many devices out there to choose from, and each have their own impressive features. For most drivers, this device will exceed expectations, but you might find it’s a little difficult to set things up initially, even with the manual. Like myself, you may find that it may takes a little work to make everything fit properly when you’re installing this device for the first time. Patience and perseverance are advised. 😅

Compact and excellent quality
I recently upgraded my car's audio system with a double DIN car stereo, and I must say it has been a remarkable experience. The transformation it has brought to my driving and music-listening experience is simply phenomenal. First and foremost, the sound quality is absolutely stunning. The double DIN car stereo delivers crystal-clear audio, with every note and beat coming through with incredible precision. Whether I'm listening to my favorite tunes or tuning into my favorite radio stations, the sound reproduction is immersive and rich, taking my in-car entertainment to a whole new level. The versatility of this car stereo is also commendable. With its wide range of connectivity options, including Bluetooth, USB, and auxiliary inputs, I can effortlessly connect my smartphone, tablet, or any other media device. This allows me to stream my personal playlists, access online music platforms, and even take hands-free calls without any hassle. The seamless integration with my mobile devices has made my driving experience safer and more convenient. Moreover, the user interface of this double DIN car stereo is incredibly intuitive and user-friendly. The large touchscreen display is vibrant and responsive, providing easy access to various features and settings. Navigating through menus, adjusting sound settings, and selecting different sources has become effortless, allowing me to focus more on the road and less on the controls. Another aspect that I truly appreciate about this car stereo is its sleek and modern design. It seamlessly blends with the interior of my vehicle, adding a touch of elegance to the overall aesthetic. The customizable lighting options allow me to personalize the display to match my style and mood, making it visually appealing both during the day and at night. Lastly, the installation process was straightforward and hassle-free. The double DIN car stereo came with all the necessary mounting hardware and wiring harnesses, making it easy for me to install it myself without any professional assistance. In conclusion, I cannot recommend this double DIN car stereo enough. Its exceptional sound quality, versatile connectivity options, user-friendly interface, sleek design, and easy installation make it an outstanding choice for anyone looking to upgrade their car's audio system. It has truly transformed my driving experience, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Great but needs tap to dim/screen off
This unit sounds great with no crackle, good RDS tuning and is responsive. CarPlay works every time fast as does Bluetooth. The screen quality is good. It does not have a tap button on the screen to dim or turn off the screen which is hard at night. Although it does dim with the headlights automatically which is better than nothing. Really my only let down. Hence 1 star off. Advanced setup 113266. Looks good in the truck too.

Cannot connect two cameras and Display stopped working after 3 months
The product description states that you can connect a front camera as well as a rear camera. I've asked repeatedly for instructions on how to do this and I keep getting sent a video that shows how to connect the reverse camera with no instructions on how to connect both cameras and how you switch from one to the other. Either the unit does not do this, or the seller does not know how to do it so they cannot send instructions. I'm leaning towards the former. I've already installed the unit or I'd send it back. Not as advertised. Everything works "OK". Quality is not great, but for the money it seems like a good value otherwise. Now after 4 months, the screen went blank. No display

Decent for price
My issue is the screen quality and brightness. There are only 1 dim/night option. Also the volume knob doesn’t always work. It spins and spins and sometimes changes the volume. I guess the features are ok and glad it comes with the remotes. Mostly bought this so I can have Apple car play.

Surprisingly easy to install - CarPlay works great - 2003 CR-V
I was a bit hesitant to purchase this as I never installed a radio before - I was surprised how easy this was. A few learnings: 1). Wiring - directions were a little unclear on a couple of the wires. Example ‘Brake’ - this wire is intended to be wired to the emergency brake so that you can’t watch videos on the screen unless the brake is on. I couldn’t find the brake wire in my car - but I just connected the brake wire from the new units wiring harness to the ground wire and it works fine (it will just play videos while driving which isn’t a good idea). There were a couple of other wires that were not applicable for my car including ‘power antenna’, illuminating, etc…. I just left those out. Also - connecting the wiring harness into my existing wiring was very easy with simply crimp connectors - the existing wires were easy to map on the internet. 2). Mounting - on the CRV - this unit fit perfect in the existing radio slot. I did have a mounting bracket from our existing after-market radio that I was able to use with this new unit. If you don't have that - order a mounting bracket. 3). Camera - I didn’t bother with the rear camera - to install that I would have needed to remove all the trim off the back gate of the car and then wirier it into the reverse light (which would have required removing the rear light assembly and finding the correct wires. This would have been a ‘nice to have’ accessory - but it wasn’t worth the effort for me as our primary goal was getting CarPlay. 4). Steering Wheel Control (included with radio) - I couldn’t figure out how to connect this - it also only mounts on the right side of the steering wheel where there wasn’t room with the cruise control buttons. No big deal as its really not needed. Overall - this was very easy to install (took me about 30 minutes and I’ve never hooked up a car radio before). We now have CarPlay in a 2003 CR-V and the unit looks like it was made for the car.

Impressive for the $
Installed in a 2006 Mustang. I found it pretty simple to install. The screen is a bit bigger than a standard double din but I was able to use the face surround they sent with it to make the opening the correct size. The back-up camera seems seamless except you can't change the volume or anything else when it's on. The steering wheel remote isn't great but it does work well. Some thought into its position before installation will help any frustration level. The other remote is kind of useless in my opinion as it needs line of sight with the radio face to work. For the money I like it alot. I'd buy another one. No, it doesn't screen mirror via BT, but most likely your phone will be charging while using those functions anyway. It will take calls and use pandora type apps via BT though.

Well, it plays...but leaves much to be desired. Customer service? Mediocre at best.
First the good: Easy to install, it has both AM/FM with RDS, good equalizer, analog steering wheel control so I don't need an adapter (many don't, check your car), works with my factory installed rear camera and lots of options that sort of work. The bad: 1. 60Wx4? HaHaHaHaHaHa! Note that ALL audio companies lie about this. If it isn't given in Wrms then it isn't accurate. Companies constantly invent terms like "music power", "peak power", "peak music power" but you can specify power in multiple ways so the only truly useful one for changing signals, such as music, is Watts RMS and any electrical or audio engineer will tell you that. Also, power output is meaningless without the Impedance of the amplifier! Most people don't understand impedance which is an inverse relationship: a lower impedance takes more current than a higher impedance for a given voltage signal, i.e. an amp works HARDER to push power into a 4 Ohm load than it does for an 8 Ohm load. Power ratings are based on matching the impedance of the amp to the speaker. You can always connect, say an 8 Ohm speaker, to a 4 Ohm amp without damage but the power delivered to the speaker is reduced. Connecting a 4 Ohm speaker to an 8 Ohm amp will eventually destroy the amp if you use it a high volume. FYI trying to push too much power into an underrated speaker destroys speakers and connecting too low impedance speakers to an amp destroys amps! You can always put a 100W speaker on a 20Wrms amp without issue because the speaker will produce an SPL equivalent to the power supplied but NEVER the other way around because too much amp will destroy too little speakers. So anyway, I HAVE ASKED SEVERAL TIMES ABOUT THE IMPEDANCE but the seller doesn't even know what that is so he has refused to answer...so I set up my equipment (retired engineer with audio experience and TONS of equipment and time on my hands) and measured the output and determined the impedance. This amp produces 18Wrms per channel into a minimum 4 Ohm load. This is actually decent because many factory systems only produce 10 to 15Wrms per channel (depends on the car manufacturer and how well they lie or are honest; some factory systems I've seen report the actual Wrms and those are impressive) and many systems that "claim" 150W per channel often are closed to 35Wrms. So the volume is decent but not Earth-shattering. If you want to rattle your doors so the car two lanes over can hear it you will be disappointed with this unless you add LOTS of external amplifiers. Heck, this thing has a 10A fuse so at 12V you will NEVER get more than 120Wdc entering the unit so getting "240W" total is impossible, plus over 10Wdc is supplied to the USB for charging not to mention all the other functions...60Wx4? Yeah, right. 2. The OS is horrible for using USB/SD. It does NOT list the folders/directories in any meaningful way; it appears they are in date order and not alphabetical order. The seller only confirms "order it is on media" which is a terrible way of saying good luck finding anything quickly. You will be scrolling forever to find the folder you want. The MP3 metadata is "sort of" displayed because it lists the artist and the song title but it just repeats the song title as the folder so if you like listening to an album it will play it but it won't tell you the name of it after you have selected it. That's picking nits, but still. There is NO WAY to list anything by artist or album, only the horrible way this OS throws them on the screen. If you only listen to everything in random order then you probably don't care but I listen randomly at times and albums at times and finding what I want makes me want to throw this thing AT the seller. 3. Like to display your phone screen, it will do that...BUT...if you like to listen to music on different media while seeing your phone display then you are out of luck. Once the phone screen is displayed, nothing else will work. That's fine if you play everything through your phone but I DON'T! I like to see a map while listening to my USB files or the radio and that just doesn't work. 4. Internal microphone has to be the WORST microphone I've every used. Some reviewers say it works great but in my case it only works if I'm stopped and the engine is off...which is never the case. So the seller says "don't need external, has internal" yet there is a connection on the back...but I have yet to find a microphone that works with the rear connection. So I'm not happy with that at all. 5. And speaking of the phone, the seller says this has "Voice activated" calling. Nope. Not at all. Sure, if you set up your phone, plug it in and then ask the PHONE to call it will. Every car I've had in the last 15 years with a factory system has the ability to call using your phonebook on your phone by asking when linked with Bluetooth...but not this thing. You can select the phone, in my case using the steering wheel calling buttons, but then you have to select the phonebook on the unit and then type in a few characters on the screen until the person's name is in the list, click on it and then click on it AGAIN to get it to call. There's no activating the phone on the unit and telling it to "Call John Smith" and have it do anything. I have an older, single DIN JVC unit I bought 10 years ago in my classic car that will do this...but not this thing. Several times now it has LOST memory settings. I could live with that if it just knocked the date/time and maybe the last mode I was in but it has lost the steering wheel interface settings as well which then has to be programmed again. In one case I was driving with it OFF and later turned it ON and the settings were lost meaning I couldn't use my steering wheel controls AT ALL. And no, the seller says "connect wire to battery and power to key on power" WHICH I DID! I actually installed audio systems for a living and well as designing them while I was a college student studying electrical engineering; I know how to install this and perfectly understand that power is necessary on a direct connection to maintain memory settings while a larger current supply is needed to operate the system that is controlled by the ignition key so that you don't forget and leave it on while the car is not operating. I KNOW MORE ABOUT THIS THAN THE SELLER DOES. The unit obviously has a problem, likely a cold solder joint in the circuit maintaining the memory. I've had it too long to return it at this point because I went on a vacation before I installed it so I'm stuck with it for now. Currently looking for a replacement that has FM with RDS, resistive steering wheel (analog) control, decent OS, external microphone with Android Auto, Double DIN, rear camera and will perform other tasks while using my phone...haven't found one yet I can afford. I tossed this thing a bone by rating as high as I did. And I may use it for target practice once I replace it. Shame my factory system died or I wouldn't even be in this situation. UPDATE: The seller contacted me after reading this review and offered a refund. I accepted. Seller then sent me a "screenshot" of something. No refund has shown up yet. Meanwhile, I found another unit made by ATOTO that so far has worked PERFECTLY. Search Amazon for their models. It does everything perfectly that this unit wouldn't as I described above AND it links up with my Android phone WIRELESSLY! I'm much happier now.
