Company need to thoroughly check quality before launching such products
The product seems to have defects .. in first order the whistle was not getting fixed and after I received the replacement now the problem is closing the cover properly.. the company need to check the product thoroughly before launching such items ..

Poor quality
Very poor quality. The handle on the lid doesn't fit properly and breaks off while lifting the lid. I have tried screwing it multiple times but it breaks off every time.

Not able to open lid of idli maker. Closed too tightly.
We requested a replacement of the first idli maker because we could not open the lid.The delivery of the second one was prompt but again we were not able to open the lid.This has caused us a lot of difficulty. If we request another replacement, we may have the same problem again.We ordered Pigeon brand because we know that it is a reputed brand.lt would be good if each item is checked thoroughly before it is transported for delivery to customers.

Quality not as expected from a branded product
The media could not be loaded. Expected a level of quality from this reputed brand, but there is no quality.The cooker is made of reasonably good stainless steel.The lid has a feather light whistle as seen in milk cookers. But it will not fit tight. So the whistle will be blown off by steam.The bottom has no induction stove compatibility fitting as specified.Flimsy idly trays, especially the bottom tray on which we fix the centre rod. The trays will not occupy the centre of the cooker, so will hit the lid when we close and open.The cooker comes in a dismantled condition. So basic knowledge to fit the top Knob and side handles using screw driver is necessary
