Now I'm not one to write reviews but I just had to in this case. Before coming across this on amazon I had never watched it before and I was at first a little wary of buying the boxset without knowing if I'd enjoy it.Thanks to the great reviews I decided to take the plunge,paid the £50 and by the next day it had arrived in perfect condition. The box itself is sturdy and well made,inside the box there are the 9 seperate seasons,each in their own individual case.As some others have said it is a little bit of a tight squeeze when all dvds are inside at once but to be fair a few seconds of easing a season out of the box is nothing compared to the reward we get in return.This series is not just about basketball,its about high school students who make mistakes and grow into amazing young adults before our eyes. There is so much drama,heartache,comedy moments,terrifying encounters.shocking accidents and lifechanging situations that will leave you glued to the screen.we see murder..we see phsychotic stalkers and crazy nannies...but more importantly we get to share almost 10 years of these characters lives.There are several storylines (although I'm in love with each and every episode created) that really made an impact on me,some that shocked me,some that angered me some that even made me cry for example..-The school shooting.(Beautifully and sensitivly created)-The kidnapping of Nathan.(He's to die for!)-The stalking of Peyton.(Terrifying)-The drowning incident of Brooke and little Jamie.-Uncle Keith murdered. (won't say by who but very tragic)-A pregnant Haley getting run over by a car.-Lucas finding out who killed Keith.These are just a few of the most incredible moments of tv I have ever seen and I'm an avid dvd boxset collecter.I have to say Sophia Burton who portrays Brooke Davis really did herself proud in this show,and I felt she was the one who really changed the most and learned from her past mistakes.Little Jamie who is introduced when the show skips ahead four years (perfect decision) is just brilliant,so cute and funny.One of the characters we don't hear about as much as the main 5 (Brooke,Peyton,Lucas,Haley & Nathan) is the wonderful "Skills" aka Antoine-He has to be one of the funniest unintenionally hilarious guy I've ever had the pleasure of watching.A huge well done to the cast,producers and everyone involved for making such a spectacular show that I will watch over and over and will pass onto my daughter when she's old enough ;)If your thinking of buying this boxset then please please please do yourself a favour and treat yourself you won't regret it. At such a bargain price you'd be mad not to,if I'd known ahead of time how precious this show would be I would happily have paid triple the price (and that's coming from a sensible spender lol)One Tree Hill-Thankyou for your work of art.

My father purchased the first season of One Tree Hill on special from Amazon. Since the description at the back was not at all exiting( something about sports, bla,bla)it took me almost half a year, until i finally watched it. To be honest i did not like the first episode, however i continued to watch it( since there was nothing else on). I have to say the more you watch it, the more you like. Even though sometimes you might be annoyed by certain character you can still related to them and you care about them. That for me makes a good series! So i finished season 1 in like two days and season 2-4( and disc 1 from season 5) i rented from the video shops. Apparently,all of the video shops only had the series up until Season 5 Disc 1. Since i did not know how many season One Tree Hill will have and buying each season separably is quite expensive i decided to wait until the complete box set would be released and then purchase it. So you can imagine how exited i am after three years to finally watch all the episodes :). Furthermore, i still got it for the cheaper price ;). Hi i just watched it tonight and it dose have all the extras on it. For instance for Season 1 there are the same extras like on the one that i have. Additionally, on the other ones there are also a lot of extras on. So yeah it might be a bit expensive now, but as we know Amazon the price will probably drop again.

I got this as a Christmas gift 2 years ago and finished the whole box set in April of this year. I must confess I’d only ever seen one or two odd episodes here or there, and I’d never watched the whole series all the way through. Back in the early to mid 2000’s when it was competing against The O.C, the show fit some reason never really grabbed my attention - until now!!!!! I’m so gutted I missed out on watching this the first time round, because it is absolutely fantastic!!! The characters really reel you in and bring you along with them throughout every journey. From the trials and tribulations of Nathan and Lucas, Nathan and Haley’s marriage, Lucas and Payton, and not forgetting Brooke who even managed to settle down in the end, this is one TV show that even those who haven’t seen it can watch it for the first time and enjoy it all over again like me. Whilst I’m more of a Gossip Girl fan, this is fast becoming one of my favourite shows!

Well i think the title just says it all One word to sum up OTH............................ Incredible!I cant believe it has actually ended this was the best programme i have ever watched! i have not missed a single episode i just love it to pieces! It makes me feel sad to think that it is over, i balled my eyes out through the whole of the last episode. I am so glad it will be coming out on box set so soon. I have One to eight (seasons) but i have watched them so many times throughout the 10 years of them being out that they are a little worn! So being able to buy the whole box set and have it at such a great price is amazing! I Love OTH and i will miss it so much!

One Tree Hill has been a staple form of entertainment for me over the last 3 years or so. I decided to take the plunge and purchased the whole set. Episodes can range from comedy, to drama, to horror, to romance and always holds my attention. Having dipped in and out of reruns on T.V. I am now thoroughly enjoying filling in the gaps and would recommend the box set to anyone who has seen a few episodes and is curious to find out more. The box set arrived promptly and in good condition. The series fits very tightly in the box so you have to tip all the series out to get the one you want. Overall a very good purchase.
