Big time saver!
I have two ponds in my back yard that need topped off with water twice a week. This entailed a cumbersome hose/filter set up that I had to manually attach to the spigot and let run for 20 minutes for each pond. This also made me have to dedicate specific times of the week(wed and sunday) to do this. After seeing this(single version) at a friends house to keep his water feature full as he travels a lot I thought I would give it a try and wow! what a time saver! I set the timer to go off every other day for 10 minutes and it keeps my ponds fuller which keeps the fish a little bit cooler as well during the summer. I have PVC water pipe connected to the time and buried under landscaping so it is all invisible. Of course over winter months will have to go back to my old way but what a time saver during the summer. Love it.

Large display and easy to program
Great compact unit at a good price point. This two zone unit was very easy to program and had it up and running in minutes. I also love the big display.. my old unit from another vendor had smaller numbers and I couldn’t read the display because it had yellowed so much.

more expensive than the Orbit 2-outlet timer
I just put this timer in service today and it seems to be a little ridiculous to write a review when I've just got this thing. But I'll tell you what I like and what I don't like. I was looking for an alternative to the Orbit timers. I bought two of their 2-outlet timers a short time ago and one of them has already failed. Seldom do their products last more than 2 or 3 years. I bought the Rainpoint to compare. I like the rotating dial for selecting the different programmingparameters. Programming is easy, though I am disappointed that you cannot manually run one zone and have the other zone water right after it. You can select both zones to water at the same time but I don't have enough water volume to do that. The activation process is a little puzzling. Why would they make a timer that needs to be 'activated'? I wonder how long it's going to work before it needs re-activating. Is it going to quit on me when I leave on vacation? Only time will tell if the RainPoint timer is a keeper or a waste of money.

Works great with drip irrigation systems
I’ve been using the RAINPOINT 2 Zone Water Timer for a few weeks now, and overall, it has been a reliable and convenient upgrade for managing my garden irrigation. Here are my thoughts:What I Like:Dual-Zone Functionality:Having two independently programmable zones is a game-changer. I use one zone for the lawn and the other for my raised garden beds. It allows me to tailor the watering schedule to each plant's needs, which saves both water and effort.User-Friendly Interface:The digital display is large and clear, and the buttons are easy to use. Setting up the watering times and durations took just a few minutes, even without the manual.Customizable Scheduling:You can program each zone with its own schedule (start time, frequency, duration), which is excellent for plants that need more or less water. It also supports both odd/even days and interval watering.Manual Watering Option:This feature is super handy when I want to water outside of the schedule—just a quick press and I can water on demand without affecting the regular schedule.Rain Delay Function:Especially useful during unpredictable spring showers. The delay feature helps conserve water and prevents overwatering after rain.A Few Downsides:Battery Operated:It runs on AA batteries (not included), and while battery life seems decent so far, I’ll need to monitor how often replacements are needed. A low-battery indicator would be a nice addition. No Wi-Fi or App Connectivity:For a tech-savvy gardener, the lack of smart features might feel limiting. This is more of a hands-on timer than a remote-controlled system.Hose Thread Sensitivity:I recommend using plumber’s tape when connecting the unit to avoid minor leaks. The fittings are good, but a little extra sealing makes a difference.

Works fine, but could use some easy updates and more install suggestions.
My screen stopped working and only showed partial lines. Replaced the batteries and same story. Now it’s all blank only 3 weeks after purchasing and in use.Sounds like customer service is good, will contact Monday to request a replacement. In the troubleshooting, it recommends avoiding long exposure to sun. I Wish that was in the install portion of the guide, I would’ve rigged a cover up for it.Aside from that, this works great.I do wish the timers could be more time specific for example set @ 7am and 4pm rather than every 9 hours when you don’t want the 3rd step.Very easy to cross thread as they are plastic.Received a replacement right away and I will be rigging a cover to block the sun! Works great.

Great product
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’ve purchased 3 so far. Initially I bought 2 and then a month later I bought another. They’re great products, super intuitive (besides the manual spray which you just hold ok down for a long time). Would highly recommend this for any use on timing hoses.

Does what it is supposed to, and is easy and intuitive to set up.
Recommend this product. I always over-research purchases and decided on this sprinkler timer after considering several other competitors. The design makes it easy to setup the time on the device, then schedule when, what duration and frequency of the schedule for each outlet, independently. It has worked flawlessly from day one. No leaks, is well-made, and of similar size to its competitors that I researched. The rain delay function is a little less intuitive, but I got it right on the second try.Definitely recommend this product.

Perfect
4.5 stars!Accuracy of time and set up is good, looks nice, size is perfect and feels solid, did notice a tiny tiny leak where connects to water spigot, but small side to side pushes took care of it. All controls and adjustments are easy to use.
