Almost as good as the old style
It gets almost as hot as the old style works great

Poor quality
The thumbscrew that holds the adjuster bracket stripped out in under a year of normal use. The heating element failed in just over a year. Not worth the investment at all. It's a shame, these used to be the best quality; but not anymore.
