When putting in a bottle, turn to the right until you hear a click
If you don’t do this, you will have a mess and Water will be all over. I guess that is the chief complaint about this device. But you gotta be smarter than the device and actually turn it to where it is sealed before turning it on. one complain on this is that when you go to put pelletized dry ice in the bottle it has a slow leak. I guess that’s how they get you to buy more of them. You gotta love how people just spend more money on their products. I like this device, but I wish that it would take the blue canister instead of the pink one, the pink canister is designed to leak, causing you to buy another canister at $37 I don’t know about you but I go through a canister every two weeks. They should make restaurant ones for households just thought I know not many people would buy it, but I would depending on the fact if it might be

Love it so much I bought one as a gift!
I’ve owned mine for over 3–4 years and absolutely love it, so I bought another one as a gift. It saves so much money in the long run, and I love not having to buy or recycle plastic bottles anymore. You can make carbonated water whenever you want, wherever you are—and it’s so easy to take with you. It’s convenient, eco-friendly, and has become something I use almost daily. If you enjoy sparkling water and want a simple, long-term solution, I highly recommend it.

Loved Soda Stream v1. Hate this model!
Bought my first Soda Stream in 2020. Loved it for the instant carbonation, value, and convenience. When my v1 died in late 2023 I bought the Gaia model. I truly hate this model and am now looking for a replacement. As others have noted, this leaks everywhere. I could bear with that, but the real problem is that it simply doesn't work. After pumping the carbonation 3x more than what is recommended, I see bunch of frothy bubbles, but they instantly fade away and I am left with flat water. I like flavored drinks and now I am just paying a lot of money for flavored flat water. Really hope there is a better model that is affordable that I can find soon.

Who Knew how Good this Would Be?!
LOVE these machines I bought two one for me and one for my sister. She is a diabetic and I am a border line one recovering from major surgery. The bottled water market with fruit juice is a SCAM!! All of these waters have Sugar in them it must be the fruit juice. So The Doctor said stop drinking them and just drink water. But lat gets boring. I got these so we could makke our own sparkling water and dont add a lot of fruit and it works. Everyone should get one of these and it saves money, the environment and i even got some pepsi for the mister and he is using it as well. It is way better than buying soda. I see that Pepsi purchased the company and you cannot get Coke Products. But you can get the CO2 bottles on a recycle schedule and I purchased two large plastic bottles for each of use to use as we please. He has Pepsi, I have Ginger ale and She like just plain water. Just a quick not the bubly is nasty and so is the mint and other diet flavors. If you want a sugerless option just add a few pieces of fruit. It has enough sugar and you should be cutting sugar out anyways.

The model (GAIA) is Euro
This model that's sold here on Amazon for the Soda Stream, the Gaia, it is not sold in the United States it's only sold in Europe and that was a decision by the Soda Stream Corporation or powers that be of Soda Stream. It's just that they made it for Europe; it's a very good item, it's manual so there's no power cord or anything like that you just simply put in the the unit in the back for the carbon and put the water in the container and press. It's amazing and you can control how strong it is by how many times you press it. You can purchase the flavoring and I just thought it was amazing and I don't know why I haven't purchased this before; it's saving me a lot of money in the household as well as enabling us to control how much sugar is in our drinks and after using this I realized that I don't want it as sweet as I drink before. I like this.

Functional, but noticeably cheap
As the cheapest option, its good for if youre on the fence about whether you want a carbonizer. Its pretty easy to use, but with it being the cheapest option; its rather light plastic feels cheap, unpowered so you can place it anywhere, but if you overdo the CO2 you can rupture the gasket rendering it inoperable. Had gone through two of these with a good amount but not insane amount of use. Just be aware of what CO2 canister you use, as theres two kind you can order and if you put in the wrong version, you bust the CO2 intake as well. If you know you want one of these devices in your kitchen, and can spend a few extra dollars, I would recommend one of their other models. If youre still on the fence and want it for the occasional use, this is as good option.
