Key sizes
So far so good. I got this second keylock as my original one is just too small for my old skool bulky car key with built in fob and non retractable key. There must be other people trying to find out the information like i did so hopefully this will help them. The mechanism of the lock does eat into the space a bit but as the front of the key is so small compared to the fob at the back it fits nicely, i even left my key rings and bits on and it still fits. Please see the pictures. Now i can go surf without stressing about my stuff on the beach

Seems robust, easy to install, great.
I bought one of these to put on the house to hold a spare key prior to an extended holiday - I didn't want to be taking calls from my children while I was on the other side of the planet saying "Sorry, I've locked myself out!".It is easy to affix to a wall (I've hidden mine under a climbing plant on the back of the house), it is reasonably waterproof, and it seems fairly tough and impervious to at least casual interference - if they can find it that is! If you don't know it is there, it would take a lot of determined searching to find it - and why would you be looking for it if you don't know it's there? But it is instantly accessible to those who know it's there. If you do manage to find it, then I dare say a determined attack with a lump hammer might make it yield its contents after a short while, but then if someone is that determined and not bothered about attracting attention like that, they would probably be prepared to set about the door directly with the hammer anyway, and not bother with wasting time trying to get their hands on a key. But the combination of reasonable security and secret location is good enough for me. Much better than a plastic rock in the garden, or a jam jar full of nails in the shed!

Seems "Fit for Purpose!"
Item arrived very swiftly - full marks for speedy service from supplier. On examination the box itself appears to be a sturdy piece of kit that should do what's required of it. Needless to say I haven't tried hitting it with a 3lb lump hammer so am taking its qualities on faith and face value!I am not so convinced about the shackle's ability to withstand any applied determined attention however simply because the side of it that opens up doesn't go very far into the body of the box. It seems a little exposed / vulnerable to me.Without trying to break it though I cannot really criticize it! As I won't be using the shackle it doesn't matter to me anyway. The key box itself is a good size and has easily accomodated several Yale and mortice lock keys with room to spare which is excellent compared with some that have space for maybe 1 or max 2 Yale keys only. The combination lock like so many is a tad fiddly and inclined to want to turn in only one direction so could be an issue for older arthritic effected fingers. In those circumstances I would strongly recommend push buttons anyway, the bigger the better! For me though this is just what I was looking for at the price I was happy to pay so I am pleased

Reassuringly Solid
A decent size and reassuringly solid considering the budget price. Comes with a set of screws, rawl plugs, a removable steel loop for ad-hoc fixing in the manner of a padlock and a rubber cover which plugs the holes left if you take the steel loop off. The only thing that I feel is missing is a hook on the inside on which to hang the keys. The locking mechanism won't win any prizes but would certainly stop an honest thief and would probably put most people off. It is the same type of basic rotary combination lock found on bike locks etc and it can be 'picked' with a bit of patience - this said it is one of the better examples of its type and if you are able to put the box in a difficult to reach position (such as screwed to the wall at the back of the cupboard under the sink) then you will make it more trouble than it is worth to get into. All in all, very pleased.

Use for guest
I use it for guest to beable to let them selves into our caravan when I can not get there.I like the fact I can move it and take it off as it's not permanently fix like my old one xEasy to sort out and change lock number.

Solid piece of kit
I originally bought one of these for my father. However, after some testing we decided his eyesight was not good enough to see the numbers on the combination dial so we decided to go for a push button type keysafe for him. However, I now use this product myself and I am very happy with it. I should also say that the numbers are perfectly clear and actually bigger than on some of the other safes I have seen. This unit is now screwed on to my wall at home and it works well. No more hiding keys in the garden. I won't be using the shackle for mobile use but it looks sound and is easy to use. The safe comes with a rubber plate for wall mounting and at first I was slightly concerned that this plate may make it easier to lever off the wall. However, having fitted it I now reckon it probably makes it more secure. One last point, there is no weather guard for the combination lock so I wonder what would happen if this unit was exposed to the elements. Not an issue for me.

Lightweight screws and dim numbers
Overall this seems a good and heavy duty product. Drawbacks are, as noted by others:*the numbers are hard to read even in good light and*the screws and rawlplugs included seem quite lightweight for the job. The plugs are 27mm and the screws 33mm including the domed head. The shackle, for portable use, has a clear plastic sleeve around it to protect what it clips round, also a plastic removeable hinged inner collar: presumably for the same purpose and for fitting round a smaller circumference item and to reduce the oportunity for levering. If you screw the safe permanently to a wall, there's a shaped rubber pad which fits behind it and covers the top, complete with rubber bungs which fill the holes left where you've removed the shackle, so water shouldn't get in.I think we will probably replace the provided screws and rawlplugs with something more substantial and longer.
