Great hub!!
Great, functional little hub!! I had an old purgo brand one that I bought from Amazon about a year ago and it stopped working recently. Decided to upgrade to the Anker one and wowww, I noticed the difference in quality immediately. It’s a bit larger, feels sturdier, and has more ports. Plugged it into my MacBook right away and everything is working perfectly! I was having issues with my monitor flashing on and off with the old hub and that is no longer an issue with this one :) charges great too!

Perfect Hub for MacBook Air - A Work from Home Must-Have!
I’ve been using the Anker 547 USB-C Hub (7-in-2) for my MacBook Air at my work-from-home office, and it has been an absolute game-changer. As someone who relies heavily on a seamless, efficient setup, this hub has exceeded my expectations and fits perfectly into my daily workflow. The compatibility with Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports on my MacBook Air is flawless. The plug-and-play functionality made it incredibly easy to set up – it was literally a matter of plugging it in, and I was good to go. The hub’s design is sleek and compact, blending in perfectly with my MacBook, and doesn’t take up much space on my desk. The variety of ports is what makes this hub stand out. With 4K HDMI, USB-C, and two USB-A data ports, it offers everything I need. I can connect my external monitor through the HDMI port, which supports 4K resolution, making my work-from-home experience much more productive with a dual-screen setup. The additional USB ports allow me to connect all my peripherals like a mouse, keyboard, and external hard drive simultaneously. What I appreciate most is the reliability and speed of the data transfer. Whether I’m transferring large files, streaming video meetings, or juggling multiple tasks, this hub keeps up without any lag or connection issues. It’s built to handle a heavy workload, and it shows. Moreover, the Anker 547 doesn’t get overly hot, which is a testament to its build quality and design. This was a major plus for me, as it reassures me about its longevity and stability, even after hours of continuous use.The Anker 547 USB-C Hub is a stellar accessory for my MacBook Air and an essential component of my work-from-home setup. Its reliability, variety of ports, and seamless integration with my MacBook have made my workday more efficient and less cluttered. I highly recommend it to any MacBook user looking for a high-quality, versatile hub that won’t disappoint.

Great to use with MacBook Pro M3
I have used USB C adapters in the past, and they worked, but this experience is just so much better in terms of form and function. This looks a lot more professional plugged into my unit than a dongle with a cord. It is a no brainer to throw in your laptop or school bag. My only complaint is the lack of an ethernet port, to accomplish that you would need an additional adapter. You can accomplish 90% of daily tasks with this dock without issues.

As described, great quality, durable.
Needed to add additional USB ports to my MacBook Pro M1. Device works great, adds the ports I was looking for. Durable all metal design. Compatible as described with my MacBook. Color matches well too. Its a little odd plugging in and removing, and it flexes a little, but overall I am happy with it.

Works Great So Far!
I needed a USB hub for my new Macbook Air, which only has two USB C ports. I decided to try this one and so far it's worked great. I like it because it mounts flush with the computer and doesn't dangle. It does take up both of the USB ports on the Mac, but that's ok. It fits perfectly and does not cover up the magnetic charging port. At first it wasn't working, but then I was able to push it in a little tighter and it was fine. I haven't moved the computer around, but from what I can tell the hub seems to be securely attached. It includes two USB A ports and two USB C ports, which is what I was looking for. It also has a couple of other types of ports which I probably won't be using. One of the USB C ports is for "pass through charging" as well as data transfer. Some hubs do not transfer data through their charging port, but this one does both.I haven't had this long, but it worked fine when I used one of the USB A ports to transfer my files from an external drive that Carbonite sent me. My previous computer was a Windows PC, and Carbonite's backup program is not compatible across platforms, so my only choice was to have them send an external drive. The file transfers went quickly and smoothly.I also used the powered USB C port with an external CD drive which I also purchased from Amazon. The instructions on the drive said to not use a hub but to plug it directly into the computer. I did not want to remove the hub to use the CD drive, so I decided to try the USB C port which included the power. The CD drive worked perfectly.I'm also using one of the USB A ports for the little plug which came with my old wireless mouse, and it is also working great. So far, I'm very happy with this hub!

Reliable and convenient
Very convenient that it attaches directly to my MacBook Air (I have a 2025 M4). Working well for everything I’ve needed it for so far. I’ve grown to trust Anker products for their reliability.

Truly plug and play.
I use this for a music studio. I use a 2019 MacBook Pro, and this was very simple to plug, attach needed cables and play away. The monitor set up was simple and didn't require any special settings. The usb (2) has a midi controller and a headset dongle, both had no issues for plug in (midi requires a special program adaptor I installed but no additional setting needed) and head set worked first try. I like that it has a thunderbolt connection (usb C) and I can pass through the power cord. It also as an additional usb C which is handy for charging phone, or data. The hub stays firm when connected to Mac, and i notice my loose connection. This is perfect for a small, and efficient way of having a hub without a bunch of cables (other than your added cables for monitor Oct.Recommend for travelers.
