This was pricey but a lot cheaper than professional cleaning. It worked wonderfully. The instructions say to saturate the fabric but with the foam spray that was not possible. It does leave little circles where the foam gets sprayed but a final washing removed those easily. For the parts of the couch that I couldn't wash I just removed the nozzle and used the liquid to saturate those parts. I will be buying more!

We had a few bad leaks in our huge sunroof on our Cadillac SRX. The rain got in and really soaked the drivers front and rear carpets. We were able to get the front carpets under control but the back drivers floorboard stayed wet too long and we got serious mold. The carpet is beige and the mold had turned it a very dark and splotchy black. This happened last summer and we never found anything to safely get the mold smell and deep dried in stains. We even tried Hydrogen Peroxide and other mild cleaning products without any luck. We didn't want to risk using a strong cleaner with Bleach and other tough chemicals for fear of bleaching, changing the carpets original color or damaging the carpet that causes it to fall apart. I had read on line about several products that seemed to work, this was the popular pic with several testimonials about how good it working at removing stubborn older stains. THE PRICE WAS RIGHT we got two 32oz bottles for around $10.00 and I bought a few stiff bristle brushes with handles to really scrub the carpet. We got the order in two days (prime) and I had all the smell and the 90 percent of the stain out of that car in no time. I really like the way the product sprays, reminds me of a foam cannon like on a pressure washer, it shoots out thick clumps of heavy foam and we let it soak a goof 15-20 minutes then I scrubbed it with the bristle brushes, wiped it down with a few dry microfiber rags. We let it set over night and the next day I opened the car and was delighted I didn't smell that funky rancid mold smell, not even a bit of it, My wife has a bionic nose for smelling things and it passed her test si I know we're good to go. There was a little patch smaller than my palm that wasn't as clean as the rest of the area that had the mold all over it. I went over that spot again and let it set about a half hour on the carpet before scrubbing and wiping down. It made the dark spot lighter than it was but it's still noticeable is you look at it carefully. I'll probably give it a few more doses if necessary for clearing that little darker area. I still have a half a bottle left plus a full bottle we took inside for around the house. There is no funky smell like ammonia or vinegar, the cleaner has no odor itself and it sure killed the smell of that moldy carpet spot. I can't recommend this item any higher, I think it's as good as it gets for cleaning old set in dark mold stains on carpet. I can' say anything about plastics and other materials but I can only imagine it works as good or even better than on carpet. I'm rating this 5 out of 5 but it's better than that. Thanks guys, one less thing on my Honey-do list! She said that was her best Mother's Day present in a long time.(the stains and smell are finally gone) If the spots return I'll probably follow up if and when.

In 15 minutes, this stuff saved two expensive leather bags that were the unfortunate victims of a water bottle incident. Stupidly, I didn’t unpack right away after a trip so I didn’t realize that water had spilled in my brand new weekender bag and mold had grown in the thick liner of the bag and on the outside of my favorite purse that was in the weekender. I know this stuff doesn’t say you can use it on leather but I was desperate and I could not find any leather cleaner to remove mold. I figured my safest bet was to try a mold remover that said it could be used on fabric and this is the only one I found that mentioned fabric. The bottles arrived packaged securely and the instructions are simple. The nozzle worked well and sprayed generously. The solution is really foamy and doesn’t have a bad chemical smell. I left the solution on for 10 minutes and then wiped with a dry paper towel per the instructions. The mold came right off of the pebbled leather surface of the purse. The liner of the weekender was a bit trickier to clean but using a dry scrubbing sponge did the trick. The solution also removed a random stubborn stain on the outside of the bag. Not only are both bags visibly clean, they no longer smell moldy! The purse is black and I did notice that the paper towel had some black dye on it after wiping the solution off but not enough to damage the purses’s color. The weekender is a pale color and I didn’t notice any color transfer. I left both bags to dry overnight. You might want to do a spot test, wear gloves, and protect your work area just in case. I only have one gripe: I wish there were the option to buy a single bottle. A little goes a long way and for my purposes, I definitely didn’t need two bottles. Oh well, I’m still a happy (and relieved) camper and have learned my lesson about not unpacking promptly…maybe. ;-D

First off, I have used a fee different shower solutions in the past, and this probably works better than those I have tried, especially against the orange rust water stain. I sprayed, scrubbed lightly with a hard brush for penetration and coverage, left for about 10 minutes, then rinsed with the strongest water nozzle and hottest temp. Most stains and a good amount of mold came off. With other products, I typically had to scrub much harder to get anything to come off. Though, it didn’t work against deep mold buildup. I saturated the area and rinsed with water and scrub twice, and barely nothing comes off, which is disappointing. So I spot treated with Tilex (after thoroughly rinsing the shower with water to avoid any chemical reaction), and voila, 10 minutes of penetration and it looked like new. To be fair, my shower hasn’t been cleaned for probably a month or two and the buildup is bad and nasty, so it may be why. Regardless, I don’t think this will replace Tilex, if this is your goal. Though it’s a much more pleasant cleaning with this than Tilex given the lack of bleach scent. So I would recommend using this for overall cleaning and Tilex for spot treating really stubborn spots afterwards.

I spray this in the shower, tub, on the walls in the bathroom, on the floor in the bathroom, and outside where moisture causes mold. It really works well.
