A great addition to my fitness walks
These are a game changer for me. I walk a lot and don't like to carry anything. These flat water bottles follow the human body shape, so add very little bulk. I use the large one almost daily--it fits nicely into the side pocket of fitness pants if you don't have the belt they are designed to go into. It would probably also fit into a horizontal waist pocket, but I imagine that would feel more bulky. When I put it in the side pockets of my fitness pants I can hardly feel it, except if my water is VERY cold. I do not notice any plasticky taste at all. Also no odor--which would be a deal-killer for me. Who wants a smelly water bottle? Not me. It does not leak at all, and while it probably won't keep your water cold on a long hike on a hot day, it is a very handy hydration tool. I haven't used the small one yet. I really got that for someone else. The smaller one was harder to open--the nozzle was just a bit stiff, but after forcing it a few times, it now opens and closes easily.

===== No leaks, secure in Flipbelt =====
+ Doesn't leak at all -- ran for almost 2 hours and nothing leaked. + Flow from both small and large bottles was great. + Curved design feels far more comfortable than a cylindrical bottle. It's worth the extra cost. + Pro-tip: Fill it with water partially and freeze it. It reduces the sloshing sound and keeps the water colder. On a 10 mile run, I fill it 75% of the way and freeze it and it still melts in time. + Secure in the Flipbelt. HOWEVER, with the large bottle, make sure that you push it in enough that the lip of the Flipbelt catches the bottle. Otherwise, it will fall out from the up and down motion of your run. - I don't love water sloshing around in a partially filled bottle but really, there's not much any water bottle can do to prevent that. The partially freezing tip helps with that.

Purchased to use in the Running Buddy Pouch
Was looking for a solution vs. the collapsable bottled to fit in Running Buddy Pouch. Perfect fit for the XL!!! Loved it so much I ordered the smaller bottle for the small Running Buddy pouch. The spout lock works great and the do not leak. Highly recommend!!!

Very nice to take on runs
I like the slim profile of these bottles, fit nicely into the side pockets of my running tights. I prefer that over using these with my Flipbelt. It fits but not as convenient as the side pocket access.

leaks a lot!
I really wanted to like these and they worked for a little bit. After 3 or 4 runs they start to really leak out of the top. I tried problem solving it but still managed to loose about half of the volume during runs. I bought both the small and large option. Same results. It's unfortunate because I reallly like other flipbelt products.
