Tiny but powerful
I love this little guy. When my tower fan inexplicably decided to topple itself (and of course break), I needed something quick to keep me cool. I bought this, even with the reviews, not expecting much, but hoping it could give me a bit of respite from the heat.Color me pleased and surprised! It's very easy to setup (I have a plug tower very close by to where it's living that has USB ports) and the controls are pretty self-explanatory. Turn towards the plus sign, it turns on and speeds up. Turn towards the negative sign, it speeds down and eventually off.Is it going to be the only thing that cools you on a scorching hot day? No. But is it something you can keep close by and get a nice breeze? Absolutely.

"Stepless" knob silliness. Not sure it can be taken apart to clean.
The "stepless" knob control--I have no idea what stepless means. The knob literally clicks in solid steps. But they means absolutely nothing. You have to rotate the knob in a direction some number of multiple clicks to change speeds. To turn on you spin it right multiple clicks. Presumably you didn't turn too many clicks so you're at "lowest". You can't click it once to step up to the next speed (which would be logical, sensible, accurate, predictable). You have to spin it multiple clicks to step up. I think it may have 3-5 speeds, but because you have to spin it, you literally have no idea which speed level you're on. This is a geek "solving" a problem that didn't exist. But it's "kewl".The front grill with the louvers easily comes off, which gave me hope it was designed to be maintained, not THROWN AWAY when the fan becomes dusty. I see what might be four clips, but I couldn't get them to release to clean the fan blades. Maybe when I have more patience I'll figure how without breaking the plastic grill. Not being able to clean/grease the fan blades and inside housing is the number ONE reason why these get tossed in the trash. At closing in on $30 and all plastic, this should not be disposable.I like the louvers for directing air up and down. Compensates well for the design being tiltless. Most small fans easily tilt but don't oscillate. It feels strong enough. I'd have to compare it to others. I think the $10 all metal fans I bought from walmart a decade ago are more powerful with a similar increase in noise when on high.

Small, powerful and quiet
I work from home at my desk all day and do not have air conditioning in my office so I am constantly working to keep cool, especially in the summer. This product is perfect size, power, and convenience for working from home and was the perfect addition to my office set up. I am especially happy that it does not take up surface area on my desk and It runs quietly and smoothly unlike the other fans i bought. I wasn't expecting much from this small fan but surprisingly, this little fan moves a decent amount of air. Oh wow i'm so glad i bought it and I highly recommend you give it a try!

Great usb fan
Love this little guy. It has great output, it rotates and really moves the air. It's so good we used it in the bedroom this summer with our ceiling fan and had a good sleep on those hot nightsMy only concern is that it light weight and will fall over somewhat easily. I just put a weight on it and that worked well.Liked it so well we have 2 of them.

Waste of money
If you are really desperate for air then buy it. If you want a fan that is worth the money then DON'T buy this one. Very cheap doesn't have the ability to move a piece of hair on your head unless it's literally 2 inches from you. Terrible

Weak fan
You need help with this fan. You have to be literally within inches away to feel the effects even at high speed. I would recommend something a little bit stronger.
