Great little camera for snorkeling and the beach, high quality photos, and lots of features for the price. Get at least one 128GB card before you go - you can buy them at convenience stores, but at 5x the price. And, you need to format the card first, through the menu, otherwise, it doesn't use the card efficiently. I took 200+ photos at high-quality and only used about 10% of the formatted card. Takes very nice photos - these were set at quality of 36 (I think), which is not the maximum resolution. Once it's set up, it's point and click. The auto-focus won't always let the camera shoot unless it can focus, so sometimes it doesn't take the photo, but it would have been out of focus anyway. Like all digital cameras, there is a slight delay. Those of us who grew up with 35mm SLRs find this frustrating, others are used to this, and won't even notice. These pictures were taken with this camera. The fish were natural light, the manta ray was illuminated by a dive-boat's light, and the camera's flash, and the Capt. Cook monument was natural light. Be sure to rinse salt water off the camera (and all your equipment), and let it dry before opening it up and downloading the photos. It comes with two batteries, which is really great. I bought the case that Amazon recommended for $13 and it was perfect, I also had a floating wrist-strap and put it on this camera. I highly recommend getting a floating wrist strap for this camera. The camera is only supposed to be waterproof to ~10ft, so if you drop it and it sinks to the bottom, it may not survive at the depth where it lands. If you're in a pool, this probably doesn't matter, if you're snorkeling in 50' of water, the strap will save it.

I bought the camera for a trip I had that included snorkeling. Unfortunately, the camera would not work once unplugged from the charger and I did not have time to get a return initiated before leaving. I did not realize what a short time i had to return the item and went past the return date by 3 days so I'm unable to get any money back. Won't be able to use the camera but lesson learned. Won't be ordering from that group again.05/21/2025 review update. I bought a new battery for the camera and now it turns on without having to keep it plugged in. However, the batter charged all night and yet was still down a bar when I put it in the camera this morning. Having said that, I'm still taking it with me and will use it on an upcoming cruise and report back. I'm eager to use it in the water.

The whole family loves this camera! I bought it for a younger child- but the older child likes it too. :) Quality product. I ended up buying a thick lanyard to attach to the camera- and a case. Very happy with this purchase! It has gotten a ton of use already! 700+ pictures so far. 😅

works great to carry my camera and its battery charger. it’s a little too big for my canon powershot A3400 IS but that’s not really an issue.

I wanted a secure case for a camera that was both small and manageable but also sturdy and safe and this fit perfectly. I like the firm sides so it can be kept in my backpack or carryon and the secure strap to make sure it stays put when I open the zipper. Delighted with the case!
