This was great and def caught hair and such. Honestly didn’t last long here, but that’s becuase my son put his heel into the main center part and broke it, but thank goodness the spring and broken piece stayed inside and didn’t go down the drain. I ordered another one and had to teach my son to maybe use his hands to test water temp haha

My main criticism is that this unit definitely restricts water flow. My drain practically sucks down the water without this unit in it and the water backs up a bit with the unit installed. When showering the drainage catches up to an acceptable amount, but always has a ring of water around because it can't drain as fast. It isn't anything I can't live with, however, and is acceptable.It does look very nice, is built well (i.e., not cheap) and performs the replacement stopper function as expected. No water drains when the stopper is engaged.It certainly beats trying to replace the threaded stopper that was in the original drain. Fixing the threads or replacing the cross member would have cost a lot and been a real pain doing it myself.Not sure about the ability to catch hair yet; I've only seen a few strands in it.

Excellent engineering! You have to play with the different rings included to get the right fit for /your/ tub, but they keep my curls from clogging the drain, while also holding water in if I'm soaking. Well done, engineers!

I'm a 79 year old woman. I was afraid that I couldn't install this stopper. I finally got the old broken stopper off. Then when I put the new stopper in it was like magic. I went right into it's place. It closed and opened AND it WORKED when I put water in the tub! Thank goodness!

Hace buen trabajo, solo pesionas para llenar tu tina y vuelves a presionar para dejar ir el agua, si atrapa los cabellos y es fácil retirarlos del dispositivo, es de fácil instalación, solo lo armas y lo colocas sobre el desagüe no me cesitas herramienta, el único pero que tengo es que ya está perdiendo su color, pareciera que alguien lo hubiera raspado con algo (cosa que no pasó) y se ve desgastado como si fuera muy viejo

Initially I ordered 2 of this item, and worked worked perfectly but the 2nd one didn't work at all. However, the item was replaced immediately, even before the broken one was returned, and the replacement works great. This product is so much better than having to crawl around in the tub to remover the older screw in type stopper that doesn't even block hair from going into the drain. I also own the sink stoppers!

It works & also looks good in the bath tub!
