Stinky…but works in minutes!
Gonna say it. I rarely do reviews, but this thing worked so well I was compelled to write one. We’ve been inundated by pesky flies from around 5p - dusk; just around the time we like to sit out back and enjoy the summer sunset. I set 2 of these out and within an hour they had both caught 20 or so flies, and keep catching more by the minute. One downfall (if it is one) is that the attractant works so well, it brings even the dumb ones nearby that aren’t smart enough to find the bait. Based on how well the traps are working, I’d assess that within 2.5 to 3 years, they’ll prob catch around 6 million+ flies, if the math maths correctly. The realist in me anticipates it to be closer to 200-250K but I’ll give the traps the benefit of the doubt. I wish I could give a higher review as these things are dispensing of these godless pests faster than I can type this. A+++!

Effective but STINKY!!!
These things really work! I had them out for maybe a month and they got really full of nasty flies. At first they don't have that much smell, but when I went out to change them it was incredible. I have worked in stables, I've been around cows and chickens, but this was the smelliest stink I have ever smelled!! Do not eat before changing these! I would recommend wearing a mask and gloves before emptying since the smell gets into your nose hairs and took awhile to get out, and you do NOT want to get it on your hands. ( It's the fish meal and rotten eggs in the bait.) I got the refillable ones since I didn't want to use disposable and create more plastic mess in the landfills, but you still have to empty them into a plastic bag so it may be a wash there. I like that the bait is natural and not more chemicals we don't need in the environment. I wish I had taken a photo of the full ones but it was so gross I didn't think of it until now.

Works phenomenally well!
Got these based on customer reviews and having had them for about 2 weeks, bought an additional ones to use they work that well. Really like that they are non-toxic and ingredients are all natural. It is also super easy to setup and like that the hook/chain to hang up are included. Yes, after about a week, there is a smell of decaying materials and dead flies so that is totally true but they work so well that that is a minor inconvenience. We have chickens and ducks free roaming in our backyard so we get quite a few flies in the summer. We hung these right outside the coop as well as on the deck area right outside our porch door. Within a week the bottle is over half full of dead flies and that is when we've started noticing the stench. So, making sure it's not too close to the house and not in the coop once the smell starts getting strong as we don't want the poor birds to have to also deal with the smell. Highly recommend and like that these are re-usable.

Smells like roadkill / rotten flesh
These smell like death, like a rotting corpse when the trap is full of flies. For context, I work in wound care and this grosses me out. I looked for what died before I realized it was these things. The traps were full of flies but also maggots, you have to double bag or pour boiling water over them to avoid just aiding the fly population. They dropped the population day 5-10 and when they started getting worse again I checked the traps and yes, it killed a ton of flies. But it also made maggots and smells like rotting flesh. We’re on round two and managing the source around our chicken coop on 100+ weather days, also putting up fly tape as this setup triggers my gag reflex to empty… not for the faint of heart. 4 stars for it brings the flies in and kills them, docking a star for the absolute horror of a smell.

100% work!!
I don’t write very many reviews but I have to share this one. We have a very close-in- proximity next door neighbor who has 2 dogs and never, ever, as long as they’ve had pets pick up poop in their backyard. Soo, guess who gets all the flies from their crap!? I can only imagine what it must be like in their yard!! Anyway, this picture shows LESS THAN ONE WEEK of use of this fly trap. I have 2 of these beside my porch and they’re both this full!! It is literally the grossest thing I’ve ever seen, but it is also satisfying that we’re catching so many!We can’t even enjoy our back porch anymore, and every time we open our back door the flies swarm in!! This item is so easy to use and starts working and drawing flies IMMEDIATELY! Getting ready to place another order! Wonder if I can buy stock in this company! Anyway, they 100% work and are worth the money!Sorry for the long post, I kinda needed to vent😵💫

It REALLY works & it REALLY stinks!
These work amazingly!! They’re so easy to set up. I read the reviews before purchasing, so I had an idea about the smell, but wow! They do stink something horrible; so, in glad I placed them along the back fence of the yard. It cleared out all the flies hanging around our patio and entryways, and that’s really what I wanted. I’ve had them for about a week now and they are FULL of flies! It took about 3-4 days for us to notice a difference and because of the heat where I’m at in Texas, it appears that the water is maybe evaporating quickly, but it might just make for easier clean up. I bought a 6pack of refills along with it, and I’m sure I’ll continue to buy more as they really do work!

Works so fast and I had SO many flies outside my apartment door. I used the traps as soon as it arrived and put it at front and back door. I read it takes 2 days to take effect but it was catching them even after one day. Worth the money and I can see the flies going in it! Almost bought another set cause I loved it so much and saw a few lurking near a window. I waited since it’s still week 1 and I might not even need more! Best outdoor fly trap. The flies had me stressed and grossed out now I come to my front door and it’s chill. I bet when we go in back door to hang in yard it’ll be pleasant to!
