After a some recent weaker stories, Zero Hour is a solid episode in Andy Mcnab's Nick Stone saga. The brisk first-person story-telling is interesting and vivid, and the sense of "place" for locations in the UK, Amsterdam, and Moldova feels authentic. Stone is back in classic form, complete with a lot of roughing up (both on the giving and receiving end)-- and some heart-wrenching. Author Mcnab is in top form here, taking the reader through contemporary issues, technical design, tradecraft, and more than one plot twist. This is a good one. Fans should make a point of reading Zero Hour. Highly Recommended.

Ok, got the book on tuesday, completeted it by Friday. Pageturner par excellence. In my opinion, "Zero Hour" features everything what we came to love about Nick Stone and his ... adventures :-) Violence. Humour. Drama. Twists. The book opens up with quite a surprise which renders the reader wondering how the end of the story might turn out. It takes the reader to the Sudan in the opening part, then to Moldova, Denmark, Amsterdam and back to London. Nick is in for one hell of a mission. Overall I think this is a great addition to the Nick Stone Series and combined with "Exit Wound" a must-read. Happy Holidays!
