It work for my three completely different computer types (no desktops)
It works! I have three completely different types of computers, and contrary to many KVMs these days, this one works!I have a (1) Macbook, (2) Thinkpad, (3) Jetson. All three work just fine with this KVM. Keyboard, Mouse and Display. The only issue I have once in a while is the Macbook output. It goes to like some noise output once in a while (it happened like 3 times in the last month, so really not a deal breaker and it resolves itself quickly anyway—either on its own or by going back and forth to another computer). I think that the Mac is the issue, not the KVM. It generally happens when the Mac is still sleeping when I switch. So not I try to remember to wake the computer up first. The one thing I would complain about: the buttons must be pushed "pretty hard" to switch. So at times I end up clicking them two or three times... But I don't switch between computers that often, so again, not a deal break for me. (plus I'd rather have a functional system than no KVM at all)One more thing, I took the KVM with two output (see the A and B on the back). I only use A and it works as expected. Those three computers I have only have one extra output so I don't need the B and I also don't have the space for another large (32") monitor on my desk.I put a picture from the front and the back. Personally, I like cables. I prefer those than all WiFi stuff... if you don't like having many cables... this may also be a deal breaker for you.

Looks like it comes with every cord you will ever need.
So I bought a Mac Mini and found that it comes with nothing no keyboard no mouse nothing. So instead of buying all of those things again. I decided I was just going to use what I had and get a KVM switch to share them. This one's build quality looks really good feels solid and comes with all the cords that you'll need to hook up your second and third computer. The delivery speed was awesome they got it to me right away. I think it's a good value for the money for what you get. I'm hoping this switchability is good between the Windows PC in the Mac. While this one doesn't seem to have all the functionality that some of the more expensive ones do it has what I need. I'll update my review after I've been using it for a while hope this helps you make a decision on your purchase.

Don't Get if You Need Display Port 1.4
I bought this to swap between my work computer(Mac Book Pro) and my personal computer(2 Year old higher end gaming PC), to connect to use my main monitor(Slightly older less optimized 4k 144hz monitor) which requires the full bandwidth of display port 1.4, and my support monitor(1440p 144hz monitor).Let's start with the good:- The switching was fast, and the included remote worked well, including all USB and monitors- It was easy to tell which system was on- 4 ports was more than enough for my, and probably most people's needs for swapping back and forth- It includes pretty much everything you need to make it work, including 2 display port cables, the switch, and two male USB type A to male USB type A cables, which aren't standard in most places, but do seem to be standard on KVMs- There was no response time issues for my mouse and keyboard plugged in through the kvm, which was one of my main concernsNow on to the BadMy only real gripe, and the ONLY reason I purchased this KVM is that you don't get the promised full Display Port 1.4 bandwidth, my main monitor requires that to output 4k at 144hz, it is a limitation of the monitor, and has been a pain in a few areas, but I used two short known good cables, purchased from good reputable sources, and independently can handle running my main monitor. When I connected it via the KVM I would get intermittent flashing when the refresh rate got above 60hz. My MacBook worked fine as the most it could output was 60hz, but something would happen above that level that would cause the screen to flash, regardless of the task. I did try powering the KVM to see if that would solve the issue. but it was a no go.My verdict: This gets 2 star because it did not deliver what was advertised, and what I needed, but if you are looking for a kvm that isn't requiring the full bandwidth of display port 1.4, like for a pair of 1440p monitors this will likely work great for you.

Works across Mac and PC
I have a PC (laptop) and two Macs (Laptop and Mac Mini) connected, with 1 monitor. This was very easy to set up. The only snag I run into is when switching to the Mac laptop when it is already "awake". The mouse and keyboard will work fine, but my monitor won't pick it up. I don't think this is a problem with the KVM, it is the Macbook. It works perfectly fine with the PC laptop and the Mac Mini. The only way I've found to resolve this is to unplug/plug the HDMI from the macbook. I had a cheaper KVM that only worked with 2 computers before and had the same issue with the Mac laptop.Overall, this KVM does its job well so far.

It does the trick - takes some figuring to get right.
My setup:1 MacBook Pro M2 14 inch1 Mac Mini M11 23" Viewsonic Monitor1 27" Dell monitorSonoma 14.4.1I use dual extended monitors.NOTE: I needed 2 USBC hubs (anker 223) to make this work. I had read other reviews and was prepared for this. The instructions also (badly) explain this.I had to play around with the setup to get it right. I'm hoping the picture I included is clear enough to make sense for how I set it up. I set it up and made sure all of the signals worked as they should with my Mini and then set up the laptop. The order in which you connect the HDMI inputs is important because it will affect the resolution settings. Your results may vary and you may have to systematically plug things in to figure out what works. (learn from my mistake and make sure your cables are seated firmly - I wasted a good 20 minutes figuring that out)Once you get past the initial setup it seems to work very well. Switching is clean and precise and I have no issues with peripherals (keyboards, usb hubs and trackpads)I did need to get a USB adapter for my headphones so that I can use one set for both machines. The adapter will plug into the USB A that is directly under the wired remote input on the diagram.
