Christmas gift for my engineer boyfriend who loves gadgets. Didn’t disappoint. He even shows it off to his mates

That power button is pretty close to the electricity, if I had long nails it may get caught, I would have prefered this power button to not be inside the lid and have it outside instead behind waterproof housing. I also think the light at the bottom could of been more poweful, with a higher capacity battery. I took a star off because of those flaws.It is adequate lighting, it has high low and strobe (flashing light). This strobe is normally used to indicate a warning that your there, or can be used to disorientate criminals. The high is decent, but I've seen brighter in smaller flashlights, It maybe 300 lumens or less. The exterior of the lighter is high quality, feels like a rubbery silicone that repels water, it is probably rainproof but not water proof. The electric is powerful enough to light any object on fire, comes with usb-c cable (short) and a laynard for hooking up in the open gap.Closing comments-I have to say it's nearly worth a 5 star, if the light was more powerful like at least 750 lumens and if the battery was higher than 220mah with more than 300 life cycle charges, and the power on key if that was away from the electric, I would have easily given maximum score. Well a small foldable solar panel wouldn't hurt, this is after all an explorer item. Otherwise a nearly perfect lighter.
