Yuta has a problem. As one of the thousands of Japanese students afflicted with "chunibyo," a state where they're so desperate to stand out that they've literally convinced themselves that they have secret knowledge and hidden powers, Yuta spent most of his middle school years living in a complete fantasy world. But that's not his major problem now, as with a lot of work and effort, he's finally managing to overcome his delusions to the point where thinks he's ready to start high school with all his cards in order. No, his BIG problem is the girl he first encounters climbing on his balcony. It seems that his own efforts to rid himself of his chunibyo have attracted the attentions of another sufferer, and she's decided that this makes him her soul mate. And since Rikka's just moved in upstairs, now he's being sucked into her fantasy world! Can a formerly wild and crazy guy handle being the focus of a completely delusional girl? Kyoto animation have done a great job with this anime, a visualy beautiful blending of fantasy and reality, in a tale with plenty of fun and comedy, but also some moments of true pathos. Cute, but not lightweight, entertaining, and heart warming..... Yuta is a normal, average highschooler, at last.. True, in middle school he was a bit out there, believing he held the mystic power of the "Dark flame master!" But that is all behind him now. The future will be free of delusions! Little does he know, and little is he prepared for the encounter, as a strange girl (Rikka) decends into his life, bringing a roller coaster of madness, and emotion that will turn his world upside down. With some wonderful support characters, all with their own take on chunibyo, this would compliment the collection of any fan of anime. Review: Perfect followon to CDKGS S2 - If you watched Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai! S2, you will want to watch this movie -- it's a great followon. It's lighthearted enough to base itself as a standalone episode, but series watchers will appreciate all the continuity nods. Touka, Rikka's sister, shines especially in this film -- continuing her trend of being both manipulative and everywhere at once! The film gives closure to some relationships from the series whilst providing adequate fanservice to others (you can probably guess who!) The ending is pretty lighthearted and whilst not super impactful (aka Clannad tier), I would say it definitely sums up the series fittingly and aptly. Overall well worth a watch as a CDKGS fan!

Perfect followon to CDKGS S2
If you watched Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai! S2, you will want to watch this movie -- it's a great followon. Brilliant Adorable Anime
The anime: Wanted to watch this show for ages but isn't available on Crunchyroll EU, I don't like pirating shows so this was ideal. I really enjoyed it. Really pleased with the ending. However I Didn't like the OVA much and I've heard mixed reviews about Season 2, as I really enjoyed the ending of this season I don't think I'm going to bother with the rest. Packaging: I was really pleased when it arrived to see it came in a really nice box. Especially as I don't really like the Blu-Ray cases this was ideal fits nicely.

Boy meets girl(who lives in her fantasy world)
Love this, the storyline is at heart boy meets girl, falls in love fare but, it has many hilarious moments being as the girl spends way too much time in her own fantasy world. I recommend it highly

I already owned this on DVD and switched to blueray a great fantasy of a girl whose imagination is everything really fun anime for all ages

One of my best buys
This film came early without prime and is a joy to watch, this being one of my comfort animes I have to say it's amazing and it came in a good package no damage what so ever! Not even water damage.

This anime is grate but this collectors edition is awesome! Ive seen anime you can buy that only has 4 episodes in it and is about $65 *cough Kill La Kill *cough *cough (still a good anime but god dam), but for like $74 you get all this stuff just look at everything you get! Not only does it come with the subbed AND dubbed versions but it comes with Blu-ray and DVD sets to, just in case your one of the few people that dont actually have a Blu-ray player (Like me) not to mention the bookmarks, 152 page hardcover book, wallet chain, art boards, and everything else! Now for the anime, it f***en rocks you my have herd that the 2nd season isn't good but that's a load of crap its just as good as the 1st season. I may be biased because its my favorite anime but its my favorite because is really good, its not some anime where you couldn't give less of a s*** about the characters its actually dam good at making you feel something, well me at least, and I'm pretty cold sometimes. So yes it is a very good anime and if your a big fan and are wondering if you should get this or not, get it. If you dont want to shell out $74 then you can find the entire anime dubbed and subbed without all this sweet stuff here on amazon or on sentai film work's (The people that licensed and dubbed this anime) website. TLDR Too long didn't read ver: If your a fan and your wondering whether you should buy this, yes you should you wont be disappointed. If you think $74 is over priced you could spend $80 on a video game or popular anime and not get s*** compared to this. This is a amazing anime and this is one of the best collectors editions I've seen.

Was packaged in with the chunibyo rikka version that i also bought, they were packaged great! No damage, perfect condition!
