The product
I bought this product for my front lace wig to help with the curls but using it and following the direction of the directions of the model on her page using this product this is not what I expected… allowing the wig to air dry the product is still dry and crunchy on the wig not at all silky and smooth as advertised by model…

strong fragrance and no instructions
The scent is too strong for me. I get headaches from strong scenes like that. My hair was still wet when I used it and I didn't use much because things weigh down my hair...plus the smell. It did help define my curls. I wish it didn't smell like it does but it seemed ok other than that.

Nice product, little bit of a learning curve. Needs more info on usage and ingredients.
For reference, I have a mix of type 3 curl patterns on my head, mostly 3a and 3b. My hair is low porosity with a tendency to get greasy when I use heavy products (oils and butters). My daughter has a similar hair texture to mine.I used this during my and my daughter's wash day to see how it would work for the both of us. The smell is okay. It kind of reminds me of the smell of professional products used in salons. I wasn't sure of how much to use as the texture, while very nice and luxurious feeling, is different than other products I've used before. I felt like I had to use a lot to get it through our hair. In hindsight, it was probably too much as our hair looks a little greasy now. Sadly, there's no directions for use on the packaging. It didn't leave it crunchy or flaky which is nice. That said, it didn't weigh either of our curls down and it defined the curls beautifully. Second day hair looks alright. Less greasy but the curls have fallen. There's no instructions on the jar, and I wish that there was an ingredient list on the Amazon post so that people had a clearer idea of if this is truly the right product for them or not. I'm okay with the price as it's cheaper or the same price as other products I've tried or regularly use. I'll probably use this in a cocktail with some other products I have to get the ideal combination for my hair. I think it might also be better with a diffuser versus air drying. If you're wanting a single miracle product, this probably isn't it for you, depending on your hair type. I can see it working the best for Type 4 curls. I'll use it since I have it, but probably won't purchase again.

Too much fragrance
The fragrance on this is so overwhelming that when I first opened the jar, I swear I sneezed for a minute straight. I don't usually have an issue with a lot of fragrances and regularly use scented products, but this was a lot. I normally do my full styling routine in the shower anyway so I hoped the fragrance could be managed with wet styling, and that did help. The fragrance wasn't as strong with my hair soaked and I got a nice cast on my hair when it air dried without flaking or tackiness. Unfortunately it made my hair feel really dry to the touch after the cast was scrunched out. I normally scrunch out my gel with hair oil which leaves my hair feeling soft and touchable, but I had to add in so much oil to get it to feel soft that my tendrils started to look greasy. I think I have to use about half as much of this as I normally use with my regular gel and I think it would probably still have a decent hold. Overall, the fragrance was a lot for me and I didn't like the way it felt on my hair when totally dry, but I think it's not a bad product maybe for a different hair type (I am mixed race with low porosity, 2C/3A hair.)

No instructions
It’s a heavier consistency so please be careful with how much you use. It sucks that it doesn’t tell you how to use it, but I tried it after the shower- cleansed my hair, applied the product and “molded” it. It held ok but it didn’t tame my frizzz

It's nothing special
I have 3 a-b curls. I applied this with the praying hands technique to my wet hair and then promptly plopped them in a cotton t shirt. I didn't notice much of smell to this product when I was applying it. Afterwards though it did leave a weird overly processed honey smell. It did a decent job with my curls. You'll still have to use multiple other products with this. It does its job but it's not like a miracle product or anything. You can find a dozen other products like this at your local store for cheaper. Although one thing that I did really like though was that it didn't leave my hair crunchy.

Great clear paste but no instructions.
I ordered the curl paste for my daughter who has VERY long, thick, naturally curly hair. The paste is a completely clear product that looks like, but has a different texture, than gel. It has a nice, subtle fragrance to it. My daughter’s only complaint is that there were no instructions anywhere on the jar for how/when to use it. She decided to use it just out of the shower as the first product she put in her hair, and she said it worked wonderfully that way. I probably would have given this product more stars if there was more information on the jar.
