After buying a hamster, i soon found out that I am allergic to saw dust! After looking at alternatives I came across Carefresh and decided to give it a go.The product is great. It lasts for 10 days and does not smell one bit. It is far less messy than saw dust and very easy to change. Best of all there is no dust, so no more asthma attacks. The hamster also seems very happy as he can build little dens in it.Whilst it seems pricey, for the reasons mentioned above it is definitely worth it. It is also a lot cheaper on Amazon compared to shops.

Very good, worth the price. Degus are not easy to get the setup right for, this stuff is great. Single layer over the floors and it's good from clean-to-clean. Absorbs well, doesn't start to smell quickly (Degus are not extremely messy in that respect but with 5 in a larger cage setup it can get un-fresh quicker than it might, Caresfresh is the best I've used and I have tried a lot of other things).

I use this product for my nephew‘s hamster cage as I was looking after the little critter while my nephew was on holiday. I noticed how badly the cage would smell. This actually is quite good. It’s easy to clean and if you just leave a small amount of the original Sawdust with their urine and poo poo on it so that the hamster or whatever critter is in the cage knows its scent it will settle into the cage nicely but definitely recommend this for any small critters
