The media could not be loaded. I bought the NuBlume Blue Oyster Mushroom BloomBox as a first time mushroom grower. It arrived the next day just as it said it would. The packaging is modern and attractive with an immense amount of pertinent information such as USA made, 1% to the planet reinvestment, details on the mushroom being grown, USDA organic, instructions for growing g, and a QR for all the information printed right on the attractive packaging. As far as the 1st grow went I purchased the Blue Oyster Mushroom Box. It said expect pinning by the 5th-7th day. Here on the Galveston-Houston gulf coast I had pinning by day 2. I am literally sitting here on day 3 watching the fruiting develop right before my eyes! I am loving my first attempt at growing mushrooms. NuBlume has made it fast, simple, fun, attractive, informative, and the experience exceeded my expectations. The box says flip over for the second grow! I will post if my experience changes after grow #2. But I don't think it will. Well done NuBlume!

I've purchased many different oyster Mushroom kits before. This brand left a moldy box on my shelf. It's been 10 days, read the instructions several times, thinking I'm missing something. Nope! Just a green/blue-ish mold that is all over now. Definitely would not recommend this brand.

Loving the kit so far! Was slightly confused on which instructions to follow as the ones on the box what’s inside are different. (Might suggest putting a stick with the new instructions over the old ones on the outside of the box to avoid setup confusion). But once I read thru things in entirety the set up was super easy! Only on day two so not sure how things will turn out but I’m excited to see!

My great-niece was very pleased with this gift. It grew as expected, with ooo’s an ahhh’s, and the mushrooms were apparently tasty.

First time trying to grow mushrooms and unfortunately they got moldy instead of growing. It was probably due to user error. Easy to get started and fun packaging though!

The first fruiting was very early and had finished growing by about day 10. After this I rehydrated the cake in ice water and placed it again for another flush.It did nothing at all for about 15 days. About to give up and declare this a failure (one small flush was not worth the price) I decided to do a fridge bath overnight. Mushroom growers may know this as dunking. I've used it on other types of mushrooms and thought it was worth a try since the cold water bath before had not worked.Immediately after 1 night in water in the fridge, this cake is now fruiting from all directions and will produce way more than the first fruiting.I grow mushrooms next to my indoor room humidifier next to my houseplants, by the way. The humidifier plus the spray is necessary for southern CA weather.
