Suck a second hole in the Ozone layer!!!!
Great machine, well built... it is a Bosch!! I have been using this for a week now professionally cleaning cars with no issues, very powerful and quite surprisingly very quiet. Someone complained about the hose in a review, i think its great it not your usual hose its an anti static one which is brilliant it means its much harder for stuff to stick on the inside of it...excellent! Yes the hose can kink a little from time to time because of its hard thick design but well worth the trade off. very sturdy and not prone to falling over is another great point, and the "brakes" on the 2 front castors is a great idea if you are working on an incline!! Just flick a small switch on each front castor and ABS is in full operation!!!! Yes the bags are expensive but bare in mind they are 20 litre bags so you wont be changing them very often...and they are not mad expensive either, the last industrial vacuum i had [a different brand] also had 20 litre bags and they were a little cheaper, but not much!! Your hammer/screwdriver/ cloths sit nicely on the flat top (handy!) and the blower function is a nice touch...also great to know i can whip out the bag and suck up a Lake or two if i feel like it!!! I have say in conclusion at the price point this is a brilliant little workhorse from Bosch, well built and looks great!

High Quality Heavy Duty
I have had this Bosch vacuum for a week now and can't fault it. The item is very well made from extremely strong plastic The mains cable is the thickest I've seen on a domestic appliance. The vacuum is not too noisy compared to other wet and dry vacuums I've owned. The suction power is fantastic and should be more than adequate for any intended purpose. The 2 features that made me choose this item were the Power Take Off facility and the water drain point. I am getting too old to carry a vacuum full of water around so this drain point whilst very simple and basic is an ideal added bonus. This wet and dry vacuum is is definitely value for money and I am at a loss to understand why some have left negative comments. I have only had the item for a week so can't comment on reliability but given the overall build quality, I don't anticipate any problems.

Excellent clumsy piece of kit
Brilliant - suction is superb - using to renovate kitchen and a blessing - attached power tools and no problem reducing the dust and shavings. Only grip is the power cable should be retractable - tangled with hose many times - but i would recommend it for diy jobs - love it. - only get one bag but fairly big volume - picks up any thing that fits the spout, chipping, saw dust, masonry fragments etc

Quality Product
This is sturdy, powerful vacuum cleaner. Some real positives are:Can vacuum up liquids.Long hose and cable.Power take off is really useful for using power tools. I use it with a Bosch sander and it is quite effective at removing dust as you work. The power take of allows the vacuum to be turned on and off as by the power tool. The ability to use with or without a bag is great. Using a bag keeps the inside relatively clean. On wheels so it is easy to move around.I haven't done it yet, but cleaning and changing the filter seems simple.Great product - almost wish it had a good carpet head so that I could use it in the house for domestic vacuuming!

Good suction
Bought this to use in my home workshop to attach to my Evolution mitre saw, Dewalt Planer and a Mac allister sander that I use and it fits well with them all, although does pop out of the planer from time to time. The su tion is good and cleans up all the residual saw dust very nicely. The plug function on the unit is especially handy for the corded tools.

Good water suction
Bought this to clean hot tub debris & water left that the submersible pump won’t pick up. Does the job well, has a tap to remove water without picking up machine.

Rather limited applications....updated review....
The idea was to use this as a general indoor vacuum cleaner but soon discovered that it might have to be confined to workshop use only. It will work on smooth floors but cannot cope with any carpet surface it was tried on, since the stiff bristles of the supplied brush head bind against the carpet pile. Not immediately obvious, as I later found out, there is a air-bleed control on the main hose end, accessed by rotating its red ring. The tools supplied are flimsy, and the main handling tube is formed by two shortish smooth and bare tapered plastic pipes that just push together. Unfortunately, these are of a diameter incompatible with any of my heritage tools, including a sophisticated roller-brush head and an adjustable stainless steel extension tube necessary for my height….and these certainly will not attach to the flexible hose. The attached power cable, though robust, is not long enough to be practical across any significant area. The most peculiar characteristic was that all parts of the equipment attracted a statically charged coating of every piece of floating dust, cat-hair, and other debris around it, even before it was switched on. This was countered by giving everything a wipe-down with Anti-static Foam Cleaner (AFC – as used for cleaning computer equipment)….which seems to have mitigated this problem for the moment. It has power enough, it is true, and the dust-extraction option for using power tools, with its onboard 13amp socket, a positive addition, as is the wheelbase-level drain-plug outlet for wet use. Although this is not an expensive machine, it will, no doubt, perform well in just a workshop environment, particularly as an economic solution for dust-extraction when using compatible Bosch power tools (which I have).I later searched online to find a universal adaptor for the BOSCH hose end to connect with the existing domestic carpet tool and a stainless steel tube extension used daily (which although a third-party add-on was also fully compatible with VAX hose fittings). I have been delighted to find that there IS an option for these BOSCH cleaners available from the same supplier that provided my original telescopic extension tube and rotary carpet head….and these parts fit BOTH the BOSCH VAC 20 and VAC 15 vacuum cleaners.Search on AMAZON for: SPARES2GO Telescopic Extension Rod + Tool Kit compatible with BOSCH Vacuum Cleaners (35mm Diameter) (£16.50)also:SPARES2GO Turbo Brush Head compatible with Bosch 35mm Vacuum Cleaner Floor Turbine Tool (£14.49)These are very well made and excellent value for money. The Extension Rod comes with its own tool kit, all of which are of superior build-quality to the BOSCH, and are much more practical in use. The Turbo Brush Head is the best tool I have ever used for cleaning carpets. The internal paper filter bags are easy to fit and also readily available through AMAZON.BOSCH Home and Garden 5 x Paper Filter Bags (Accessories for Vacuum Cleaners AdvancedVac 20) (£13.26)
