Excellent product, does what it says on the tin. The best fuel additive I have ever used, my engine is smooth and much quieter, will use regularly from now on, 1500 cc diesel, the fuel economy is off the scale, engine has done 60000 miles even though it's been well maintained I certainly found a big improvement in performance.

Must admit I was sceptical that any fuel additive did anything other than waste money. However, my old diesel engine was starting to idle heavily so I decided to give an additive a try. Research on the web suggested Archoil was one of the better ones. This size of bottle is sufficient for one tank of fuel. Run your tank low and take the Archoil bottle with you to the station. Break the foil seal on the bottle and tip the bottle into the fuel tank. The long thin neck on the bottle means it goes down the fuel inlet with no splashing of the contents. Then fill up with Diesel, this will give the correct concentration of additive for a typical family sized car. I used to get around 600 miles per tank, used plus remaining miles always hovered around a total of 600 figure, now it is around 680 miles. But the biggest improvement is in engine idling, the engine is much quieter now. I do not experience any improvement in acceleration so I am still sceptical about the claims for improved performance but miles per gallon and a smoother idling are definitely improved for my 2 litre TDI engine.

For any BMW 520d owner experiencing a decline in performance, rough running, or facing anxiety over DPF and emissions warnings, I cannot recommend the Archoil AR6400-D MAX Pro enthusiastically enough. It has proven to be a remarkably simple and cost-effective solution that has genuinely resolved all the running issues my car had developed. Consider it an essential part of your annual maintenance schedule to keep your BMW performing at its peak.

Awesome stuff. I have an 09 plate Saab 9-3 and was having black smoke, DPF issues, symptoms of sluggish acceleration, issues in stating the car on colder mornings and engine shudders on a cold engine. Read reviews and with half a tank of BP good stuff I poured an entire can in the tank. Went for an hours drive and after 40 mins it’s like driving a new car again. I won’t be buying anything else for sure. Thank you Archoil !!

Seems to work well

If you have a problem with you diesel particulate filter (DPF), your ERG valve sticking or anything in the exhaust system, the whole exhaust system, that is caused by particle deposits, this will dislodge the particles, clean them off your turbo vanes and cause your DPF to regenerate. Unlike almost every other product which claims to be able to do this. I have used it on a 2015, 2.2 RR Evoque which started going into limp mode almost every day on holiday then got stuck in it after a spending an hour in a big autobahn jam near Stuttgart. Advice from home and the German RR dealer was to replace the DPF. €3000+. I hired a car to finish the holiday as you can't get up mountains in limp mode. I learnt about this on YouTube while I was away. After a tankful in Stuttgart with this in it, driving it back to the West Midlands and twice to London since: 1. Limp mode has not reoccurred 2. The engine is quieter and appears to be running more smoothly especially under acceleration 3. There may to be a small improvement in mileage. The forecast range seems to have increased by 20-30 miles on subsequent refuelling. I now have a can under the boot floor but am fairly confident it's fixed the DPF regeneration problem. What it won't do is repair any problems that are caused by holes, leaking pipes and faulty hose clips. I'd like to know why dealerships don't recommend it. It does exactly what it says on the can.

Not a fan of adatives, but Archoil AR6400 seems to have cleared the injectors and improved the smooth running of my Freelander. It seems expensive, but is actually very effective and good value.
